Preamble
Koralee and Klara are two little sisters. And like all little kids they like to play ‘pretend’.
But what’s unusual is the way the kids play. Together Koralee and Klara create vivid, living worlds for their adventures.
So, whether it is traveling through time investigating ancient Egypt, saving the world from evil masterminds as super heroes and secret agents or pretending to be inside the computer when they play video games, the kids go all out in their own special and imaginative way.
If you ever wondered what kids really ‘see’ when they play pretend, these stories are for you.
Because when these two sisters play together anything can, and usually does happen…

Chapter 01
A long, long time ago in a land far across the sea…
***
Two knights on horseback ride through a foggy forest lowland on their way to Camelot. They weave their horses around and between trees as they carefully make their way through the thick underbrush.
A group of people in a dark room Description generated with high confidenceAs they ride down a slope they find a bubbling stream and stop. Dismounting, they walk their horses to the stream and let the animals drink the cool fresh water.
As their horses drink, the riders break out food and drink for themselves.

These cookies and milk sure taste good after a long ride,
Klara Sauer says to her older sister Koralee.
They sure do,
Koralee answered between bites, riding through those trees in the thick fog is hard work.
The sun is getting pretty low, we should set up camp here for the night,
Koralee said as she looked up through the tall trees.
Good idea,
Klara agreed, we should get back to Camelot by late tomorrow. Let’s take the horses over to that waterfall,
she suggested pointing upstream.
The girls grabbed the reins to their horses and slowly walked them to a flat clearing next to the waterfall.
When they stopped to pull their packs from the horses, the wind began to stir, moving the tops of the trees back and forth.
Do you think there’s a storm brewing?
Koralee asked.
