My name is Gem Hornom Rillstone. And this story starts at 12:56 December 31st 1899. I started to dream. I was in a dark room with a woman in a golden robe. She had a black blind fold and a small crossbow. The cross bow was made of red wood with gemstones inlaid. She also had a book which she held in the opposite hand to the cross bow. She replied knowledge, strength or wisdom
. I asked is this some kind of test? Or is this because I ate an entire advent calendar all at once and burnt all my dresses?
. The woman calmly replied this is a gift and a test. You can choose between three gifts Miss Rillstone, but first... may I show you something
. I replied ok, I guess I could use a second bedtime story
. She replied, take my hand... Miss Rillstone
. I did and I was pulled backwards through time. She showed me something. There was a woman with black hair and a suit of armor down by the river. Lady justice replied this is one of the great points of what was probably the most evolutionary Storyverse War in history. See that woman in armor, her name is Abagail Shakespeare. She chose the book. The other young woman’s name is Lilah Greenhill. More than anything she wanted to be normal. So, Abagail granted her wish. A note appeared in front of Lilah. It said
Lilah, I have heard your pleas. The Green family wants to turn you into a freak. Meet me in the woods behind the old oak. Next to the river, I can make you normal. I promise I can. Signed "your secret saviour". She grabbed a cloak of white and crept through the mansion. She wondered who it could be. But the offer to be normal was one she couldn’t refuse by her own nature. Another thing Miss Rillstone, you are well aware that centuries ago your mother’s family name was Green instead of Greenhill. This is the story of how it changed. Among other things
. Finally, young Lilah had reached the cove. The old oak shone in the light of the full moon. Lilah yelled ABAGAIL SHAKESPEARE! YOU TRAITOROUS B!@#$. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?
. She replied as a light turned on in the mansion. Abagail replied I want to grant your wish. You have wished your entire life that you were normal. And I have the answer
. Abagail pricked her finger with a knife. it’s called the light spinner curse. It isn’t a purely good or evil force. It can make you unable to see or remember how weird your family is. I can feel you want that, don’t you?
. Lilah asked if I do this, I have two non-negotiable questions. What is in it for you? and...... hypothetically how would it work? Abagail replied
the light spinner curse is a Storyverse casting between two types of blood. In this case, Shakespearean and Green. The contract as it says on the box, spins the light in front of your eyes. Therefore, making you unable to perceive the very things that you hate. As for my motivations, as you know... my sister has recently married into your family. I want to show her, her actions have consequences. Lilah queried
your angry because she married for power and status, not for love. I can relate. Abagail replied
it didn’t just make me angry. It hurt me. She’s my sister. But your mother Isabell Green is coming down here right now. She doesn’t want you or any of your family being normal. She wants to decide their destinies. But I must warn you, this can’t be undone easily if it is done. Lilah replied
good, I don’t ever what this curse to be undone. Let’s do it. How do we do it?. Abagail replied
join your hands over this piece of widow reed. It’s a rare plant that originated in the Storyverse but thousands of years ago... a widows daughter brought it out of the Storyverse. She was a powerful interpreter by the name of Eliza. She put her hand on the widow reed. Abagail instructed
now we need to say the name of the mother of the Storyverse. The first author herself. Repeat after me, Atahala of the Green Wilds. A young woman appeared in the bushes. Glaring eyes shone forward peering at Abagail. A shadowy figure approached through the darkness unbeknownst to Lilah. I recognized her immediately. I stammered
there is no flipping way my grandma was around hundreds of years ago Lady Justice replied
but she was. She chose the blind fold. Abagail has 6 bloodlines of ancestors. The Moon family, the Star family, the Sun family, the Water family, the Forest family and the Sky family. What is your grandfathers name?. I stammered Zack... Moon! Damnit
. Abagail bellowed quickly, your brood is coming. Look at that figure over there
. She yelled Atahala, of the Green Wilds
. Red light engulfed them. The figure yelled NOOO, YOU CAN’T
. Temperance Storm ran and ran and ran until she reached the two women. I ran up to Lilah and yelled Lilah, don’t do it. It’s not worth it
. Lady Justice comforted this is just a memory. I’m sorry Gem. Look at the bright side, if this didn’t happen, you wouldn’t have been born. And a lot of other good things wouldn’t have happened
. Eventually the Green family showed up. Her brother Dawn Green bellowed I’m breaking the connection
. Temperance stood in front of him. She said if you do that, it will kill both of them. An older Green by the name of Franseen Green replied
Kill Abagail. The Storyverse would be saved. Temperance bellowed
there are other ways. We can talk to Lilah. She can end it. Franseen asked
I’m losing my memory a tad. What does this curse do, exactly?. Temperance answered
it spins the light in front of your eyes. In your case... it will make your entire family unable to see the supernatural world. Franseen bellowed
all the more reason to break the connection. The greater good awaits. Dawn’s son and daughter stood in front of Franseen. The daughter, Dawn Jr replied
We will hold her off. You save our family. Temperance reasoned
please Lilah, you have to remember. You can’t punish a whole world just so you can leave it". Lilah
