    Introduction

    I have bred chinchillas for several years now and have come to some conclusions:  baby chinchillas, although super sweet and adorable, can cause a lot of problems quick and breeding chinchillas for extra money is not a lucrative business, however nothing is more thrilling than watching someone walk away beaming at their new found friend.

    Getting Started

    Ok, so we are presuming you have a male and female chinchilla-unrelated.  If you are uncertain for any reason you can check them.  Gently hold your chinchilla upside cradled in the crook of your arm-most chinchillas will squirm, very few will lie passively.  Sometimes it helps to have
