Chapter 1: Bondage

I’d like to start by telling you my story. I’ve been a LPN for sixteen years. I decided to get into nursing while I was in the Army. It was 1991 and I was stationed at Fort Ord, California. I was an Aviation Control Specialist in the 23rd Medical Detachment. My unit was responsible for providing life flight services to civilians and to the military. My job was to act as the liaison between the pilots and the hospital staff, giving the hospital a medical report and estimated time of arrival of the patients in route to the hospital via life
