Eve, his wife, glowered at him. ‘So, you are not going to vote for him?’ Eve demanded. ‘Is that what you are saying?’

‘I didn’t say that.’

‘You didn’t say you weren’t! You are going to vote for him! I can’t believe you would vote for that uncouth, vulgar, chauvinistic old man!’

‘He’s not that bad. He says what has to be said.’

‘He boasts about trying to seduce woman, of making unwanted sexual advances and groping women! He’s a slimy sexual predator!’

‘We all heard the tape! You heard it, didn’t you?’
