    Introduction

    Hitting the pub or having a few can be lots of things to different people, it's what people do when they're not working, not at home, and not busy with another activity but simply hanging out, relaxing, or having a few conversations. While sports games or TVs may be occasionally blasting away, usually they're not and you're resorted to talking with others, watching the general activities of whatever's happening, or on your own and reading a paper, book, or other activity.

    When traveling, it's often the first thing one will do after arriving and settling in, hit a pub to get things sorted out. When done working, it can be a place for colleagues to get out in a non-office atmosphere, and in the process venting on some of the real problems or even a few solutions. When working from home, hitting the pub can be an escape, getting out and having a few conversations with others in the community. If a musician, it can be going to hear others or even sharing some of your own tunes.
