Dedication
To the fools with their dreams
Charting paths beyond the sea
.
Nature
A Bit of Nature
Dogs can hear a higher tune
Cats can see without the moon
Whales can sing, across the seas
Dolphins bring, a smile to be
Diverse creatures, unique features
The library filled, with a bit of nature
A Part in the Zoo
Nothing much matters
Except what's in front of you
Anything else
A part in the zoo
An Imagined Tree
There once was a tree
Treasured about all others
It knew everything
From any dimension
The sap was sew
Bold, smooth, and strong
Hints of mead
Curing all wrongs
But it was cut down
The reasons were many
Illusions of mirrors
Derivative money
Now in myths or legends
No longer reality
Only imagination
Able to spark the seed
Being Like Trees
See the trees, so happy to be
Mostly the sun, for energy
A primal connection, original intention
Keeping aligned, a common reflection
Following crumbs, to close the gap
Finding strands, to escape the trap
A golden shield, to keep it real
Dark to light, start to feel
It might seem strange, to be expected
Twenty five times, expand perspectives
All of nature, companions in life
No more hiding, from the knife
Swimming with dolphins, singing with loons
Saying goodbye, to the curse of the moon
Lions and lambs, wander the land
Many more returning, balance in hand
No need to fight, but to simply stand
Strumming on your own, or with a band
Let your voice, ring loud and clear
Drown the noise, and start to hear
Caught and Thrown Back
When going out fishing, never know what you'll catch
Other dimensions, with a line you cast
Into the depths, far beyond your world
When you reel back, moments to know
Chorus
Start to feel a pull, the line is on the make
Next thing you know, swimming in the lake
How did this happen, what did I catch
Or should I say it caught me and threw back
Trying again, the first time lost
Will beat the trend, with a little more cost
A bigger pole, a bigger net
A bigger boat, let's see what we get
Chorus
One more time, with a friend that bet
I was full of it, all that I said
Brought a camera to tape, the tragic fate
Out goes the line, a splash to awake
Chorus
All broke and busted, but won the bet
Uploaded the film, all over the net
Some said a fake, doesn't prove a thing
But I still go out, for the song to sing
Chorus
Choosing Pets
Do you choose your pet
Or does it choose you
If you discover that
You are a fool
Energy Flows
As the sun sits alone, in the empty sky
Nobody can touch, no bother to hide
It seems like everything, nothing more than extended strings
Sometimes to connect, the bells to ring
Chorus
The energy flows, wherever you go
Alive or dead, row or float
Where it will end, you never will see
Maybe begin, a life for a tree
Up with the moon, a howling tune
A shooting star, hearing the loon
A silent scene, awaken the dream
Where it leads, never be tamed
Chorus
The days go by, into years and more
Getting so tired, crash on the floor
No more stalls, or trivial games
Illusion walls, insanely lame
Chorus
Evolving Once Again
The seas are calm, ripples yawn
The storm has just passed
Feel the sun, the golden one
Shining on the glass
That must break, steps to take
Your own path is told
What will it be, a long lost tree
Shattered is the mold
Growing new, nothing left to lose
Shame is a foreign word
Who's to blame, lose the name
Playing a different chord
From a place, barely a trace
Some call it nothing but lore
After awhile, no denial
The fruits that lay in store
Yours to pick, no more tricks
Fermenting over time
If too late, stronger the taste
You might end up blind
It's no matter, surface wither
Shedding another skin
In the end, spot the trend
Evolving once again
Fall to the Ground
Fall to the ground
What is found
Illusions everywhere
Convenient choices
Lots of noises
Crystals in the air
Fool Beyond the Moon
We're all human beings, our home is the earth
If you want, you can hide it, deny all your roots
You can try to divide it, a play on scarcity
In the end is a planet, stuck on a
