About this ebook

What if you could stop paddling so hard upstream, turn your boat around, and smile and wave?
What if you could lighten the load in your life--and your mind and your heart--with tiny daily actions that we all can easily do?

What if everything you needed to get to such a place already existed within each and every one of us?

All we needed was a roadmap, a guidebook, a blueprint to take us from others laughing at us to laughing with us? From being against a cause to creating our own? From surviving to thriving?

In best-selling author Bradley Charbonneau's latest book PLAY, you'll uncover your own natural playful state is our default state, it's where we're supposed to be living, it's where we shine. It's where we belong.

I almost don't dare use this word but it's the best word I can find at the moment. Who knows, maybe you'll read the book, arrive at your own level of PLAY, and share with me a word that you feel best describes the mindset we have now achieved. But that word, that feeling, that way of being, is, I know, I know, it's a biggie, but here it is: enlightenment.

Now before you put on a robe and move to a mountaintop in Nepal, hear me out. My first book with my boys (The Secret of Kite Hill) turned a regular, daily, boring walk home from school into a magical, unforgettable, and playful story that became the launch pad for not only my writing career, but the relationship I had with my kids--and myself.

  • PLAY is a place yet it's not on a map
  • PLAY is something we all have access to yet few can find it
  • PLAY is a higher place

This book contains more than words on pages. The bonus materials give you immediate access to videos, blog posts, interviews and podcasts that enhance, explain and entice you to become the architect of your destiny and live a lighter, freer, more playful life.

In this book, you'll discover:

  • How (and why) some people seem to float through life on a yacht sipping cocktails while others are paddling upstream in a leaky canoe
  • The power of mindset and how it's the basis for all action
  • When to laugh at (and with) yourself before others do to remove all negative power before it materializes
  • Why you can't sit the entire game on the bench, you're going to have to get up, give up, and get in the game
  • How the tiniest daily events can make your exuberantly happy

Get PLAY today to get off the bench, out of your mind, and into the game.

Bradley Charbonneau

The following is an excerpt from the foreword to Bradley's upcoming book "Every Single Day" (available Oct. 17, 2017). "He no longer resembled the mopey dejected "former writer" I'd known. He became unstoppable. A machine. It wasn't just about the writing, either. It was a deeper transformation. He became much more confident and bold. He was inspiring and even intimidating in some ways. He wasn't the same person anymore. He took risks and wrote books and closed his business and moved his family halfway across the world. He's done so many things I couldn't imagine "2012 Bradley" doing. That he couldn't imagine actually doing. I barely recognize my old friend these days, and I'm glad.  He realized his dream and became a professional writer. This book is only a small piece of the proof of that." -- John Muldoon, excerpted from the foreword to "Every Single Day"

Work at Play or Play at Work

    Preface

Want to join us in building, growing, and molding what this book will become?

Or maybe even just watch a video of each letter of P.L.A.Y. that might turn into:

    Permit

    Leap

    Anchor

    Yield

Come join us for more than words on a page over at play.repossible.com.

We’ll be sharing direct links to specific chapter-related media and if you’re already set up with a (free) account, it will be all the more seamless.

    See you there!

Work consists of whatever a body is obliged to do. Play consists of whatever a body is not obliged to do.

    The End

    Introduction

    Repossible

    Welcome to Play!

However, a warning, a disclaimer, a note from the (lack of) management here at Repossible.

This is book number ten in the Repossible series. We’re deep into it by now.

    The Repossible Series

    Repossible

    Every Single Day

    Ask

    Dare

    Create

    Decide

    Meditate

    Spark

    Surrender

    Play

    Celebrate

    Evaluate

    Elevate

The series ascends from the harder, more grounded ideas of:

    Ask

    Dare

    Decide

    etc.

to the lighter, more fun, easier and even out there concepts of:

    Meditate

    Surrender

    Play

    Celebrate

    etc.

If the earlier books are the grounded roots and the trunk of the tree, then the later books are the branches and the leaves.

Those leaves wouldn’t exist without the roots.

But the roots also need the leaves.

If earlier on, it can mean making big decisions and forcing actions and it’s hard and not fun and seems like a waste of time, then later on it can seem even too easy, way too much fun, and we realize that earlier on was not a waste of time at all.

    It’s a process, a roadmap.

Some of us (not me!) might jump into the level of play without missing a beat. Lucky them!

Most of us need to take the steps to get here.

This book is about achieving a level of enlightenment that might seem unattainable to some yet I believe it’s reachable for all of us in some way, shape, or form.

If you’re not ready for this book yet and you need to create more or meditate more, then by all means, put this down when you need to and come back to it later.

If you need to ask the big questions or dare to answer them. Maybe you need to decide what you’re going to do next or develop
