Boomer mentality is being dismissive of anybody who disagrees with you, without properly checking the facts. It’s voicing outdated opinions or inaccurate information such as:
‘YOU, SON, SHOULD NOT BE WEARING PINK’
or
‘KIDS TODAY ARE TOO SENSITIVE’
or
‘YOU WON’T GET A JOB WITH THAT TATTOO’
or
‘GENERATION Z HAS IT SO EASY’
If you have said any of the above statements or similar, you are a Boomer. Dig out that Filofax and start taking notes!
