ELLEN’S RECKONING
It’s very easy to judge when you don’t have all the facts. I do feel however, in Ellen DeGeneres’ case, that her fame has gone to her head (YOU, 3 September) and she’s now learnt the bitter lesson that pride comes before a fall. She should genuinely have practised what she’s always preached, namely to be kind.
Now it may be too late. She’s apologising, claiming she’s not perfect. The cliché, “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”, comes to mind, and in this instance there are too many members of staff, and others, with claims of ill-treatment.
One can only hope for Ellen’s
