Tana Osborn

Tana is a Christian, nurse and average layperson. She stresses that she does not have any theological degrees, so the information she gathers and shares needs to be clear and direct. Books like Until Heaven Then My Friend, written after delving into God's word about pets going to heaven, is so comforting because the truths found were evident even to an average layperson, like herself. She also has written books about grief and reassurance when our loved ones have or are passing away.  They are based on her Christian insight and research as well as experience with people in the dying process in her three decades as a registered nurse,

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to all those

who have had to work through

    the many heart-breaking emotions

of losing a loved one to Alzheimer's.

    Introduction

DEALING WITH THE DEATH of a loved one has got to be one of the hardest things we face on our current earth, but yet it is a real part of all our lives. Working as a nurse for over three decades, including hospice and as a paramedic before becoming a nurse, I've seen a fair amount of people dying; traumatic deaths, death from illness and death by terminal conditions; young, old and in between.

There is no one size fits all in the matter of leaving this current earth. Though there may be some similarities in the details, each is as unique as the person themselves.  And the grieving that follows these life events are not cookie cutter either. Many variables can play a part in our grieving and even be different at various times in our lives.

Though this topic can be heart-wrenching at times, the short novellas in the Passing series are meant to provide encouragement for your walk with Christ while battling certain life events.

Each book in the series delves into different ways one might leave this current earth and offers some reassuring details made clear by God's word as well as things often experienced by others throughout the process. All are put in story form, to show that we all have a story, we are all people, with concerns and triumphs.

I hope this novella brings some peace to your heart.
