MOM NEEDS A HUG
QUICK SUMMARY
A mother’s love has an incredible influence on her children’s lives. The adults they grow into area culmination of all that her love empowered in them. With utmost compassion, tenderness, conviction, and devotion, she nurtures the life of every child in her care.
Here is how we perceive the importance of a mother’s hug in our lives and how she, too, while giving all of herself to empower, nurture, and protect her children, deserves the same tenderness.
INTRODUCTION
There is nothing more comforting in the world than the warmth and security of a mother’s hug. No matter how fierce storms may be beyond the protective boundaries of her arms, there is always peace and security inside her embrace.
Even science supports the fact that a mother’s hug is indeed magical for the unimaginable effects it has on her children. Numerous scientific papers discuss the power of a mother’s touch on children who have the innate need to feel loved and protected to develop well. Children learn to gain trust and form attachments when they feel secure in their mother’s presence.
CHAPTER 1
THE POWER OF A MOTHER’S LOVE
The power of a mother’s love transcends beyond the ordinary and the natural. It is something more magnificent, intense, and powerful than words can ever describe or measure. There is nothing in this world, be it a calamity, fear, pain, or suffering that can persevere under the force of a mother’s love.
It starts right from a child is born. A mother’s love can affect even a baby when she is too frail to even register her surroundings. Yet, the baby learns to recognize the mother’s love before anything else can make sense.
Look at the scientific evidence alone:
Many medical records prove how a mother’s love soothes the physiological and behavioral responses that are common in preterm infants. Statistics also prove how a mother’s touch can stabilize full-term infants’ heart rate and calm their ferocious crying.
The security of a mother’s love helps a baby fall into a sleep pattern. A mother’s love keeps illnesses at bay. The security of developing under a mother’s love helps a child grow healthily.
It is the security of a mother’s love that helps a baby learn to trust his/her surroundings and open towards other human beings.
THE BOND OF A FAMILY: WHAT DOES A HUG REPRESENT?
There is no complicated science we need to study to realize the importance of hugs for bonding families. In
