    INTRODUCTION

    One of the most effective ways to reduce obesity is through Gastric Sleeve Surgery. This is a kind of surgery procedure that is done by reducing the stomach to about 1/10th of the original size. The Gastric Sleeve Surgery is now the most common weight loss surgical operation performed in United States and worldwide.

    The surgery is carried out by removing or reducing a portion of the stomach and the remaining is joined together to make it look like a sleeve or banana shape. This surgery helps to limit the size of your stomach to about 1/10th the original size, so that you will eat lesser food and get full quickly.

    Differences And Sililarities Between Gastric Bypass And Gastric Sleeve Procedure:

    Although, gastric sleeve and gastric bypass are somehow similar in procedures; in both cases the procedures are not reversible, a good reason you need to speak to the doctor about any possible options and side effect. Both surgeries also help to reduce how much food you eat before you get full.

    In gastric bypass, the surgeon makes a small pouch that is separated from the rest of the stomach. This is done by cutting one end of the small intestine and attaching a small pouch to allow food bypass the stomach. As a result, the foods you eat will bypass the first section of the small intestine and
