About this ebook

This book, "Intensifying The Anointing" is a book that will help you to walk through your journey with the Lord. There will be many things that you will have to encounter, experience, and overcome. You have to know that our Heavenly Father is always with you. You are not to be of the process. Allow the Holy Spirit to develop you as He processes you in the process.

This process may be uncomfortable, miserable, painful, frustrating, and even disappointing at times, but it will be all worth it. Many times we want to hurry up and go through the process. You cannot hurry God in the process because you are tired of the obstacles on your journey. You have to allow everything to run its full course.

This book will also help you to refocus, reevaluate, reset, and realign  your walk with God.  You will begin to see your tests, trials, storms, and tribulations totally different by changing your perspective. This book will cause you to draw deeper into a more intimate relationship with the Father.

The Anointing will take you to another place in Him with greater dimensions and realms of new GLORY. The new oil of Glory will rest on you and provoke you to do great exploits. As the anointing is being intensified, the Spirit of the Lord is being glorified as are being tried in the FIRE and you will become fully qualified to do what you have been called to do by God.

    Chapter 1

    You Are Chosen

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:16) The word chosen means having been selected as the best. It can also be translated as elect. God truly calls and he chooses, but after one’s calling, an individual decision has to be made as well. One must accept the calling and act accordingly.

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He calls you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. (2 Thessalonians 2:13-15

God has chosen you whether you like it or not. So The church consists of those who are called

(invited) by God to understand his plan, to repent of

    8 9

their sins and to receive his Holy Spirit. It is very important to understand that one’s calling is an act of God! Only He calls (invites) someone. That is quite evident in (John 6:44) when Jesus told the crowds, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.

Not only is a Christian to be called into the fellowship of His Son, which indicates a relationship with Him, but there is a calling out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9) This is a true blessing to be called out of the confusion of erroneous teachings that are so evident in this world into the light of God’s truth. However, being called is not enough to be a saint of Jesus Christ. You must respond to that calling (invitation) over your life. Positive action is required! To be chosen, a person must accept his or her calling for themselves. They must be grateful for it and move forward in serving God and his Son Jesus Christ.

You are called to be faithful; and to actively believe, trust, rely, depend, and obey in God. The called and chosen will need to faithfully endure, both in good and in bad times. Despite when you are going through difficult tests, trails, and storms, you have to rely on God and always look to the future.

As the chosen, you must be spiritually prepared and be clothed with righteousness. You

    10

will not be able to fit in so stop trying. God created you the way he did for a reason. You have been rejected for several years now and you thought it was rejection, but it was God’s protection for your life. You may not see it now or fully even understand it all, but you have to trust the God that has your blueprints.

Once you accept the calling, you have to become and remain obedient to God. You have to decide after you hear the word of truth. You cannot just accept the wonderful calling of God and continue to live a life following your desires. We must trust God and believe in his Son, and then be sealed with the Holy Spirit. We all should have the Holy Spirit as our guide to help us to make Godly decisions for our protection, safety, and spiritual development.

    What Now?

So, what do we do after we accept the call? Paul very clearly stated the responsibilities of the called: "Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave

    11

you, so you also must do. But above all those things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful" (Colossians 3:12-15). It is the will of God to open our minds to his truth. He wants us to remain faithful to him after our calling so that we can be his chosen-his elect. Life is not easy in this world. There is hope in Jesus Christ!

Your appointment by God also includes his divine command to go and bear fruit. In another instance, Christ directed his disciples and us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). So we have a mission to go to all, especially to go to the lost and preach, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is at hand, (Matthew 10:6-7); we have a mission to go and gather the people to God’s home so that his house may be filled (Luke 14:23).  As his people, whom he has chosen and appointed, we have both a mission and a message to share with the world. In his love for us and all humanity. He commands us to Go!

When you hear God’s voice and calling, you will respond to his will, the result will be great and abundant fruit, both in our lives and the lives of others. You must be able to recognize the magnitude of being chosen and appointed by God to

    12

go into the world and share the Gospel. We experience the fruit of fellowship and communion with him when we become his people and call others out of darkness into his marvelous light. We see the fruit that comes through faith when we affirm our appointment as witnesses of grace and truth, and Christ is glorified in us and the lives of others as they come to him. We see the fruit of the gospel and the presence of Christ when we go and share the love of God through worship, teaching and preaching, and special missions and ministries that bring healing, peace and hope to people throughout this country.

It is time for every believer to get out and witness to the world that Jesus Christ is who He says he is. The Church needs to have more of an impact in the local community as well as abroad. The people in the world are looking at the church. The Church folks have to stop focusing so much on the four walls of the building and start building the people in the community. It is time for the church to get out and start making Jesus known. So many people in the Body of Christ are only concerned about their four and no more. The Body of Christ has to do a lot better about this issue.

We all know that there are hundreds upon hundreds of churches on every block. You would

    13

think that they are all full and they are not. I am praying for the day that the Body of Christ will be as one. The Church will be unified in prayer, worship and praise as well as the teaching of truth and holiness. Many people are feeling something in their spirit that they never felt before, and that is, they are ready for something different, something new, and something they have never seen before. The Church has to come up with new strategies that are more effective for ministry in today’s society. When everyone in the Body of Christ is doing what they are supposed to be doing, then this is known as an effective ministry and the Lord will be glorified and the Church will be edified; the enemy will be terrified, and the Church will be multiplied to full capacity. Everyone must do what they are supposed to do so that the church will grow by leaps and bounds.

When everyone is doing what they are called to do this leaves no room for competition or jealousy. Everyone should be praying, encouraging, supporting, and pushing one another to go forward in the things of the Lord. We can all learn a lot from each other
