    The Tremolo/Octave Harmonica

With the tremolo and octave harmonica, several reeds sounds simultaneously while playing, which creates a voluminous and full tone. With the tremolo harmonica, the two reeds are almost in the same tune, with the octave harmonica there is an octave difference between the two sounding reeds.

In both types of instruments, the two draw and pull reeds are located in separate chambers. Usually, these four chambers are played simultaneously - two on top of each other and the two neighboring chambers on top of each other. In this book four such individual chambers are counted as one.

There are instruments in Richter tuning and Asian tuning. Both tunings and the tones and symbols that are used in this book can be seen in the next two graphics, including the model names of wellknown instruments.
