BABY COOL
So, where are you from?
I grew up in a small town in north-west New South Wales called Narrabri. In 2001, The Today Show crowned Narrabri ‘Australia’s Sportiest Town’. I was the ripe old age of nine and remember feeling really proud, despite having no sporting ability.
What’s your latest drop?
In February I released my debut album, Earthling On The Road To Self Love. It’s a collection of very sentimental songs that I felt ready to share with the rest of the world. It’s a calming record of sorts, so I guess if you’re doing something stressful, you should cut that out and sit by the water and listen to this instead.
How would you sell your sound?
If you suddenly have the urge to sway, dance, cry and sigh all at the same time, it’s likely you’re listening to my music.
What are the go-to jams on your tour van playlists?
It’s a tradition in our tour van to listen by Family Jordan. If we’re not singing along to that, it can be anything from Mildlife to The Beatles - the spectrum of sound is vast in our van.
