Foreword
I am writing this book to warn men, especially those who are Christians, about the perils of adultery. The only reason that I am not writing in my own name is to protect my wife and stepchildren from undue shame and humiliation. However, I feel that it is necessary for me to share this portion of my life with whoever will listen. I have prayed and asked God to help me to be transparent with this body of work so that other men who are in, or will be in, similar positions will have a different perspective and more insight into the potential adverse effects that come along with stepping outside of marriage for sexual gratification.
It is my hope and prayer that every man who reads this book will learn from my experience and think twice about the potential loss that could occur before they fall prey to the snare of adultery. It is also my prayer that every man that reads this book who has been unfaithful to his spouse will see that continuing in that lifestyle causes far more damage than one might imagine. I would hope that this book would provide food for thought to those who are engaged in adulterous relationships and that they would realize how many lives their actions truly impact. I pray that God will restore marriages, open lines of communication between wives and husbands, heal the wounds of the children of divorce, and enable families all over the world to be forgiving toward each other and open and accepting to positive change. God help us all to strive for healthy, loving, and strong relationships that reflect Your presence in our lives. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
