which morphs reality from

imagining reality

Oasis of love—

delight of my heart!

Timidly,

emerging from my memories…

How am I to keep you with me?

You belong to times,

I no longer live;

and no longer,

am I the one you knew.

You are like some magical dream,

I keep slipping into, and out of it;

We are two parallel lines,

which sometimes,

unpredictably,

intersect in some intersection

in this old town,

which knows us so well…

Where every street,

building and garden,

sea-breeze, carry

the memory of our love…

Where every emotion lived,

persistently,

is lurking around every corner.

Then we rejoice for a while…

We are growing old, you and I…

This life,

has taken so much from our dreams…

And, should the day come:

I shall know you are gone.

May we live long: even in such agony;

That I may hear from you,

on that ethereal frequency…

That you exist somewhere,

close, breathing the same sunshine.
