About this ebook
Petals in Winter
In the following pages, a universe unfolds where words dance to the rhythm of the heart, where each verse is a heartbeat and each rhyme, a breath. This book is a sanctuary of emotions, a refuge for feelings that, in everyday life, often remain voiceless.
Here, love, melancholy, hope, and passion intertwine in a delicate lace of poetry, inviting the reader to dive into the depths of their own soul. Each poem is a mirror reflecting our joys and sorrows, our triumphs and defeats.
With each page turned, a new facet of the human experience is revealed, captured in the ethereal canvas of language. This book is a journey through the beauty and complexity of life, a lyrical odyssey that seeks to touch the most intimate fibers of our being.
May these pages be a beacon of light in the fog of existence, guiding the reader towards ports of understanding and empathy. May the poetry contained here be the bridge between the ephemeral and the eternal, between the self and the collective.
Welcome to the silent dialogue of poetry, where each word is a step towards the infinity within us.
Welcome to 'Petals in Winter'.

Welcome to the silent dialogue of poetry, where each word is a step towards the infinity within us.
Welcome to 'Petals in Winter'.
Time:
Time, that weaver of destinies,
on its eternal loom, intertwines threads,
with invisible hands, furrows and paths,
weaves the warp where the cosmos embraces.
In its infinite dance, it spins and advances,
cycles of suns, moons, in its dance,
each tic-tac, a second that is launched,
and in the vast universe, everything reaches.
Yesterday, an echo that lies in the mind,
today, a flash that floats in the air,
tomorrow, a mystery that no one unravels,
each moment, a note that the wind notes.
Time flows, like a mighty river,
sweeping away memories, sweet and painful,
in its current, it carries the precious,
and in its waves, the ephemeral and joyful.
Cronos devours his children, without mercy,
in his voracious hunger, there is no resistance,
each grain of sand, an existence,
in the hourglass, the essence.
Time is a labyrinth with no exit,
an enigma that defies reason,
a melody that nests in the soul,
an eternal and complex song.
Thus time, in its stellar mantle,
wraps us in its endless mystery,
and in its relentless march, without equal,
it takes us to destiny, in its flow.
The Nature and Its Immutable Beauty:
In the whisper of the wind among the pines,
the song of Mother Earth is heard, a song that leaves its trills in the soul, and in the heart, the peace it encloses.
The mountain rises, majestic and serene, with its peak kissing the blue sky, each rock, each crack, a vein, of an ancient world, vast and without lull.
The river, serpentine, flows gracefully, its clear waters, a mirror of the sun, on its path, life embraces,
and in its destiny, the sea, its beacon.
The forest, a temple of green splendor, where each leaf, each branch, is a verse, a refuge of life, a warm nest, where time stops, immersed.
The flower, with its petal open to the day, offers its perfume,
its color, its joy, an ephemeral miracle, which would soon go away,
but in its beauty, eternity is entrusted.
Thus nature, in its eternal dance,
teaches us the cycle of life and death, on its canvas, each season alternates,
and it gives us its art, generous and strong.
Friendship:
On the path of life, we find companions,
souls that resonate in harmony with ours, friendship, that treasure, which we carefully guard, in the garden of affection,
where we cultivate flowers.
A friend is a refuge, in the storm, a beacon, a light that guides us,
when everything seems strange, a mirror where we see, reflected
our clear, and in the desert of doubts, an oasis, a shelter.
With laughter and tears, friendship is forged, in sweet moments, and in bitter ones, supporting,
it is a silent pact, without words, trusting, that in the heart of the other, we are occupying a place.
Friendship does not understand time, nor distance, it is an invisible bond, of constant perseverance, a promise to be there,
regardless of the circumstance, a shared journey, full of experiences and life.
So, let’s celebrate friendship, that ageless force, that unites us beyond all superficiality, in this poem, a tribute, to that truth, that in friendship we find,
the purest freedom.
The search for truth :
The abyss of being, where shadows dwell,
the truth hides, in its infinite labyrinth,
a path without light, where doubts palpitate,
and the soul, in its longing, seeks written knowledge.
The truth, that sphinx, with its challenging enigma,
challenges us to decipher, what in its silence screams,
a living puzzle, changing and delirious,
that in each hidden piece, a part of the infinite.
Under the veil of reality, lies are woven,
each thread, a story, a dream, a fantasy,
and in the plot of existence, truths are spirals,
that spin and twist, in the dance of life.
Time, that judge, with its sharp scythe,
separates the wheat from the chaff,
