Poetry of Love, Life and Loss. This poetry collection tries to tell a tale of being born into this world, finding peace, joy and happiness. Ultimately this collection switches focus to finding love and losing one as well. Poems at the very end try to capture emotions of dealing with the aforementioned loss, in a realistic manner. It is filled with vivid imagery and represents an emotional roller-coaster. The author wants to put the reader in the centre of it all and speak to him through his poetry in a way, life speaks to us all. The author wants the reader to feel every verse like it was his own. First poetry collection by Haris Colic, although some of the poems included in it have been previously published in literary magazines in USA and United Kingdom. One of the poems was even awarded in 2018 in International Category (Poetry Matters Lit Prize).

Haris Čolić

Haris Čolić, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes both in English and Bosnian language. His writing has appeared in The Literary Hatchet, The Scene & Heard Journal, Sentinel literary quarterly, The Coil, The Paragon journal, The Cape Rock, and elsewhere. His work in Bosnian language has appeared in various anthologies, and poetry collections. He was nominated for 'The Luminaire Award for Best Poetry' in 2018 and won an Honourable mention. His poem Lost memories has won the award 'The most beautiful love poems', in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also won Poetry Matters Literary Prize in International Category, in 2018.
