Encouraging Poems 1 - John Inserra Jr
Matthew 6:25
Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious
for your life, what you will eat or what
you will drink;
Nor yet for your body,
what you will wear.
Isn’t life more food,
and the body more
than clothing?
God Cares
God no doubt answers prayers;
He is concerned, and does care;
About our needs, and assures us, He is always there;
A very present help, in time of need; so, don’t be scared!
God is holding your hand, as you walk, through the dark valley, of despair;
Even when you are cold, without a blanket, to warm you, and a tissue, to dry your tears;
The drops pour down, but I know a rainbow, will certainly appear!
Since God, assures his children, all their cries, he quickly
hears!
Faith Plus Patience
Faith plus patience is trusting God no matter the present circumstances.
Faith plus Patience is believing in God’s goodness and trusting his perfect timing.
Faith plus patience is waiting with expectation; while praying with assurance.
Faith plus patience is staying calm while the storm is raging.
Faith plus patience is being at peace when everyone is anxious.
Faith plus patience is trusting God while entering the fire without trembling.
Faith plus patience is seeing blessings not problems.
Faith plus patience is confidence in God’s faithfulness during times of testing.
Faith plus patience sings hymns even when the heart hurts.
Faith plus patience believes sorrow may last for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Choose Faith Not Fear
Our fear stumbles us over imaginary hurdles that bruise our knees, as we neglect prayer.
Our fear disturbs our rest, because we imagine our future, as a nightmare.
Our fear slows us to a crawl, and we travel nowhere.
Our fear sinks our feet, paralyzing our will to progress, drowning us in our failure.
Our faith leaps us over mountains that strengthens our knees, as we depend on prayer.
Our faith rests our head upon a firm rock trusting in the everlasting arms of God’s constant care.
Our faith propels us forward, as we walk on water experiencing miracles in abundant measures.
Our faith lifts us to our feet, freeing our will to love, rising above our failure.
Choose Contentment
I feel discouraged when I desire more than my daily bread.
I feel discouraged when I see the Giant bigger and dread.
I feel discouraged when I’m ungrateful.
I feel discouraged when I fret over an unpaid bill.
I feel discouraged when I don’t appreciate, hearing a newborn baby cry.
I feel discouraged when I’m not dazzled, by the stars lighting up the night sky.
I feel discouraged when I place too high, a value on money.
I feel discouraged when I overlook the treasure of taking a bike ride, with my family.
I feel discouraged when I am envious of how God blesses another.
I feel discouraged when I rely not on my Helper.
I feel content when I enjoy the NOW!
I feel content when I am grateful and my head bows.
I feel content when I see His masterpiece, a painted sunset.
I feel content when I treasure eating dinner with my family, undisturbed by
