To Michael Yankus
My cheerleader and partner in life who encourages
and inspires me on a daily basis.
Michael, Michael he’s my man
If he can’t do it nobody can.
He works hard throughout the day
Making my life good in every way.
He works outside to keep the landscaping looking nice and neat
Cutting grass, edging, clipping, and planting in all the heat.
He makes sure our cars and golf cart are in tip top shape
He’s very organized, thoughtful and doesn’t make many mistakes.
He does the grocery shopping and keeps an inventory of what we need.
He helps with dinner every night he’s the perfect sous chef, he takes my lead.
We enjoy being together, have lots of fun, lend support through thick and thin.
I need to tell him everyday how much I love him and without him I’ll never win.
He’s the perfect man for me and the love of my life.
When I count my blessings, I’m so thankful to be his wife.

If we could only replace hate with love
By turning it over to our God above.
Why do we listen so much to our mainstream media
Their words certainly don’t equate to an encyclopedia.
You can decide to be controlled by fear
Which won’t make your worries disappear.
We’re all hoping for a brand new day
When all our tears will be washed away.
If you continue to think your life is full of sorrow
You’ll never look forward to a bright tomorrow.
If you can start to focus on your brand new story
Filled with hope, then you will begin to see the glory
In creating an amended and magnificent testimony.
For me, I like to
