Between Prayer and Sin: A Real-Life Poetry
()
About this ebook
What if I stopped worrying
Let God take care of it all
Prayed til the sun came up
Prayed til the night would fall
What if I gave my all
To do everything He said
Kept my body sacred
Kept my bible read
What if I moved fearlessly
To make my dreams come true
Living life on purpose
Living for me and not you

For my children
Anjali
Little pigtails barely wagging
Skipping in and out everywhere
Dazing up at mommy
To see what makeup she’ll wear
Playing in every room in the house
Crying to clean it all up
Snacking every second of the hour
Sipping out of three cups
With two dresses laid out on the bed
In the mirror with hands in her head
Only a true princess would really care
How a four year old should wear her hair
Pristine as royalty regularly refined
Swift as the smartest and getting better
With time
Heartbeats increase if she has not a choice
Tears roll down if you raise your voice
Cherished as the gem hardest to find
Is this precious little sweetie of mine

Love is medicinal
Friends are therapeutic
Breathing is optional
Grace is never substituted
Flowers are the most symbolic
Holiness is the greatest feeling
Confidence is mandatory
Knowledge is accessibility
Creativity is characteristic
Character is defining
Laughter is healthy
Companionship is worthy
Hope is a prerequisite to happiness
30985.pngA Voice
Hear the whisper…
A message that guides
Warmth that confides deep within
It softly warns us to…
Be careful with whom you
