Anxiety as Told to Children - Ariane Hébert
My parents brought me to the doctor after I told them about my stomach ACHES and my feelings of nausea. Doctor Jules taught me that my physical pain and discomfort stem from my fears and worries.
Sometimes my heart thuds hard against my chest, my hands are clammy and TREMBLE, even if I’m not cold. It takes me a long time to get to sleep, and I often wake up during the night. So I’m always tired!
Anne-Sophie is a psychologist who works with children and teens suffering with anxiety. Doctor Jules refers me to her, and my parents drive me to her office.
