Mr Adewale: Where is your mom?

Gaius: She went to her friend's party

Gaius: let her socialize.

Mr Adewale: I am not holding her back

Gaius: of course you are.

Mr Adewale: son, stop teasing me

Gaius: I am not, (smiles)

Gaius: I am not.

Tola: Gaius! (enters the sitting room)

(Hugs each other)

Gaius: I am so glad that you are back

Tola: Good afternoon sir, (kneels)

Mr Adewale: Afternoon my dear

Gaius: So how was your trip?

Tola: it was good sir

Gaius: let's go to my room

Tola: No we aren’t going nowhere.

Gaius: Why?

Tola: I am going home

Gaius: Why?

Tola: Because I am tired and I need to rest

Gaius: You can rest in my room

Tola: Don't worry, I will be back shortly after I am well rested okay

Gaius: Stay please!

Tola: sir, I have to go

Mr Adewale: so soon?

Tola: yes sir but I will be back soon

Mr Adewale: Alright then

Tola: so Gaius?

Gaius: Alright then, (grumbles)

Tola: okay, bye

Gaius: bye

Tola: (leaves)

Gaius: I don't know why she can't stay, (sits on one of the couches)

Mr Adewale: Gaius, she is your girlfriend and she is not going anywhere so stop thinking negatively okay?

Gaius: I know but I feel like she is going to leave me

Mr Adewale: She loves you and that's all that matters okay?

Gaius: Okay Dad

(Exit)

Gaius: (dials Tola's number) hey babe

Tola: Hello Gaius

Gaius: I have always told you to stop talking to me so formally

Tola: maybe because you are my boss

Gaius:You are trying to make me laugh

Tola: (smiles)

Gaius: I want to take you out.

Tola: You want to take me out?

Gaius: Yes, can't I?

Tola: To where exactly?

Gaius: I won't tell you

Tola: A surprise again?

Gaius: kind of
