Nine Poems (Volume 3): Nine Poems Series, #3
()
About this ebook
Nine Poems has already gained acceptance through its first two volumes. This is the third and the last volume of the series. The volume contains nine pieces, seven out of which were created in a span of three days: one piece on the first day, two pieces on the second day, and four pieces on the third day. Indeed, the author went through a poem writing streak: the last piece in this volume is not a poem, but since it was written during the streak period in the same mindset, it has been included here in. The author knows it is not possible to continue with this exponential growth; so, he is not applying Moore's Law to his poem writing skills. But the poem writing streak can and will happen again. In what form the new poems will get published is not known to the author. For now, enjoy the poems in this volume, which are in no way connected to each other except that they have originated in the same mind. A few favourite poems of the same mind, which were published in volumes 1 and 2, have been republished in this volume because the author can't stop loving them. You can ignore them if you wish, but, if the author couldn't, would you?
Ankur Mutreja
Ankur Mutreja is an advocate by profession and a writer by choice. He published his first book in the year 2015 entitled "Writings @ Ankur Mutreja" as a non-professional endeavour mainly comprising short essays. Soon he realized the book needed to be drawn into easily presentable forms for the less involved audience; so, he derived three more books from the same entitled "Sparks", "Flare", and "Light". These were his introduction to the world as a writer/essayist. But, of course, a writer is a thinker first, and a good thinker doesn't think in genres. Ankur Mutreja has not set up any countours to his writings. He just thinks and expresses. So, he pens poems while wriitng travelogues, as in "Kerala Hugged"; incorporates fiction in essays, as in "Claims on Privacy"; and amalgamate satire, critique, and philosophy, as in "Anti-National Humanist". But that shouldn't stop him from writing poetry and prose. So, do enjoy his book of poems entitled "Nine Poems" and the fairy tale of his love with nature in the travelogue-cum-romcom entitled "Annapurna Circuit Trek".
