Chapter 1: The House on the Hill

It all happened one night on this haunted house on the hill. A lot of people believe it’s haunted and this is why.

A long time ago there lived a serial killer named Crazy Joe, who loved to kill people. He killed at least ten people in one night. Well, this is what happened. See, a lot of people were starting to get suspicious of what was going on. Everybody was wondering why all of these people were disappearing. See, when this killer killed these people, he hid them in his house. And that particular reason is why people say it’s haunted.

But one night something happened to Crazy Joe. The people of the town went up to the house on the hill. They found the bodies, but they could not find Crazy Joe. Some people say he killed himself. Some people say he’s out there, out there to kill again. And that’s why people say this house is haunted, because when people go in there, they never come out!

Chapter 2: The Invitation

Ten years later

One day Nicole and Chad were sitting in their office minding their own business, like they always do. Nicole was on the computer reading the news that comes in her e-mail, and Chad was reading the newspaper.

Nicole spoke up and said, Hey, Chad, did you know there’s this story about this house on the hill?

Chad answered, Yeah, I’m reading about it right now.

Did you know that it says in here that they are sending out invitations to the best of the best agents and crime fighters of each place in the world?

Didn’t know that.

Just then they heard an officer call out that mail had just arrived. So Nicole and Chad walked out of their office and into the lobby. The man was handing out the mail to the officers.  When he got to Nicole and Chad he yelled out so everybody could hear, Here’s some mail for our two best agents! Nicole and Chad!

Nicole and Chad both said that you and walked back to their office. When they got in there they opened the letter. The envelope was red and had blue writing and said:

To agents Nicole and Chad

Department 2034. Office 14

Jalin Rd.

Dawn, Gestovia

They then read the letter that said:

Dear Nicole and Chad,

I am excited to inform you that you two have been accepted to go to the house on the hill. This is a competition against the best of the best crime fighters and agents of each place in the world. The prize is 10 million Gestoleons.

Please call the number if you wish to participate. The number is 555-6168.
