True love is something we all aspire to have. We see it all around us in our family and our peers. We strive to have it for ourselves. When it does not happen sooner when we want it to naturally we get discouraged. As time goes on and we are still alone naturally we start to feel depression and anxiety starting to creep in.

Being single for a long time myself I can feel your pain. The main issue hindering me from finding true love was me thinking I was god’s gift to woman.As time went on I made a list of demands of what I wanted in a woman. This list was getting longer by the day with demands. Deep down inside I really kept telling myself she had to have all these qualities.

She had to have brown hair. She had to be a certain height. I only would be attracted to her if she could get a nice tan. She had to be into sports. She had to look like a mixture of a few celeb/supermodels she had to weigh a certain weight. That was what I thought the woman of my dreams was until one day something changed my way of thinking forever when I met my brother’s friend’s fiancee.

The two of them came over our house one day. The whole time they were at our house I was telling myself, she does not have the perfect tan, he is tall she is short, they look like opposites, she did not look like a cover girl, he is average, and she is average. Suddenly I realized the most important thing in their relationship was they were happy. They both found what they wanted for each other.

From that day on I changed my way of thinking instead of using them as objects and focusing on things like looks. I stopped my shallow ways of thinking. From that moment on I knew exactly where to find her. I set out to find someone who shared my beliefs and who had my personality basically someone who was happy on the inside.
