Damon Corrie

Damon, like his 3 older siblings, was born on the Caribbean island of Barbados. His mother Audrey named Damon after the American author Damon Runyon, and from a very young age Damon exhibited a passion and love for writing; however, like most aspiring authors Damon found it impossible to share his manuscripts with a broader audience (until he discovered draft2digital), so for over 3 decades his many works in many genres gathered dust on his bookshelf of unfulfilled dreams.   Damon is a 4th generation descendant of the last traditional Hereditary Shaman Chief Amorothe Haubariria (Flying Harpy Eagle) of the Bariria Korobahado Lokono (Eagle Clan Arawaks) of Guyana, South America, Moreover, the grave of Damon's great grandmother is the only known burial site of a member of Lokono-Arawak nobility in the entire Caribbean - and with a tombstone written in both the English and Lokono-Arawak language, it has become a tourist attraction in the Westbury Cemetery in the capital city of Bridgetown Barbados.    Damon has the gift of premonition dreams and being able to see and communicate with deceased loved ones, and since he married back into the tribe at the age of 19 in 1992, Damon has become the most radical indigenous activists the Caribbean has produced in living memory, and his real-life escapades and supernatural experiences feature in his writings. EXAMPLE 1 – MY UNDERSTANDING OF DREAMS MAY BE DIFFERENT TO YOURS

People who dismiss all dreams as 'nonsense' are just as mistaken as people who believe all dreams are 'wisdom'.....I delve into dreams a bit more than most (having 1-3 dreams per night for most of my adult life), and I have come to understand that dreams are subject to - but not LIMITED to - physiological factors.

Not so much neurological factors (brain generated randomness etc.) as most psychologists believe (though if you are a spiritually dead person only believing what you can perceive with the 5 senses this might actually be the case for you)...but we cannot expect non-spiritual men and women of science to try to rationalize the dream state in any other way - for they do NOT believe in anything beyond the here and now physical existence...so they have no other way to try to explain it.

I have seen into the future in my dreams (and witnessed it come true days, weeks, months or years afterward exactly as foreseen) often enough to know that it IS a conduit state between this reality and another one, but I have also noticed my dream clarity is not only dependant on a neutral mental state, but also a healthy biological state as well.

When I fall asleep in an enraged state my dreams are very dark slanted (still see premonitions but only negative ones)...I suspect the emotional state attracts similar energy.....pessimistic people are rarely surrounded by optimistic people, the light cleaves to the light, and the dark cleaves to the dark.

When I sleep in a blissful happy state I only foresee positive future occurrences that will happen to me....in a neutral state I see both.

I also notice that if I have been eating and drinking unhealthily (filling my body with toxins) - I get an 'interference' in my dreams (making them harder to discern), not the clarity that I experience when I am detoxified.

Truly, nothing comes without some effort, one cannot expect to think and act as you please and still expect to have unfettered 'abilities'...if you want 'this' - then you must pay a price by sacrificing 'that'. How can we expect rewards without making the effort that makes us deserving of said reward in the first place?

Many people come to me to help them understand their dreams, I don't really like to do it, but I prefer to try to help someone who is only seeking answers and clarity - rather than turn them away, when I ask for help, I am grateful when others agree to help me in whatever way they can, so I just treat the world the same way I wish the world to treat me.
