11 TIPS FOR THE YOUNG JOKESTERS
Practice! You may practice your joke-telling skills in front of a mirror. Then try to practice it on your parents or siblings before you tell the joke to your friends.
Do not rush!If you tell the joke quickly, people may not hear some important words. It will force you to repeat the joke, which won’t be as funny, as you have expected. Speak clearly and not too fast.
Understand it first!Never tell the jokes that you did not get. If you are not sure, ask your parents what is funny in it. If you do not find a particular joke hilarious, move on to another joke. Likely, your friends won’t enjoy and understand the joke that you did not like. So only tell those jokes you love.
Give time!Give your audience some time to understand the joke. Do not explain your joke immediately after telling it.
Avoid insults! Some of the jokes may get you in trouble. Those jokes may be offensive to some people. Luckily, this book will give you ONLY clean jokes.
No announcements needed!People will bedelightedto hear your joke out of a sudden.
Choose the right moment! The previous tip does not mean you can tell any joke whenever you want. Pick the proper time when people are ready to have fun and enjoy your humor. For example, it may be a bad idea to tell jokes when someone is too busy, concerned, feels disappointed, sick, or has just cut his
