Journey
Acknowledgements
To acknowledge means; the act of expressing, displaying gratitude or appreciation for something.
First and foremost, I acknowledge the CREATOR of both Heaven and Earth. The ONE who giveth and taketh away. The ONE whom without, I would not be who I am or where I am, today. For HE is the leader of my business and my soul, the vision to my victory, the guide to my success.
Proverbs 29:18
Where [there is] no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy [is] he.
There are many people I would like to acknowledge. Be it something they have said, done and or encouraged me to do, I am humbly grateful. To show my appreciation, I’d like to take a moment to publicly display my gratitude, to those who played a role along this journey.
Shout-out to Souls of my Sisters Brand Co-Author Candace Sandy (and Dawn Marie Daniels), for gifting my first pen and pad. After sharing my vision with you, your first instinct was to encourage me to write my journey along the way so that someday, I may share it with others. You’ve been there from day one, taking me on book tours (as SkyLaRose) preparing me for this moment and for that reason and more, I thank you.
Bless you, Robin Devonish, The Self-Publishing Maven,
who saw a need for me to share my vision on paper sooner than later. Thank you for encouraging me to pen my journey now, so that I may be a mentor for other B.O.S.S (Built On Self Success) Entrepreneurs, who are trying to find their WAY.
Selina Johnson, I sincerely appreciate you. Thank you for the countless hours you have given of yourself over the years, to be by my side exhibiting at Trade-shows and traveling abroad. Thank you for believing in my vision from the beginning, always praying, always faithful, and always there.
Josh Ready thank you for your guidance. Ursulla Miller, thank you for checking up on me and helping me push through the storms. Brooklynite 4ever. 560 State Street, Fulton St, Bless Up.
Respect to the many Entrepreneurs and those already successful men and women, whom I have met along this journey. Those who said they were PROUD
of me, after just meeting. I cherish your encouraging words and special moments and look forward to a continued blossoming of old and new friend ventures, as our journey continues.
I am grateful for my beloved Bishop George and Pastor Mary Seawright, of Abundant Life Family Worship Church. To my big Brother Greg Swann (In Heaven), thank you for your spiritual guidance.
My heart is grateful to Erica Booth of Booth Tax Accountant, Carrie Davis Attorney at Law and George Falero CAD (Computer Aid Designer) Extraordinaire, Peter Marano, Rick Darlington and Mayumi Uno (Li & Fung), aka Team Pedi Licious LLC, whom for many nights and days, accepted my calls, text and emails without delay. Antoinette Minor, The Young Professional, Thank you for being my tech baby. Always ready for what is to come, always pushing me to keep going. Thank you ALL so very much.
Shout-out to the Chief Activator, Mentor, Lucinda Cross-Otiti, who unknowingly came into my life and reignited a fire under my vision. Much obliged to you for bringing a past connection (Robin Devonish) back into my life. I appreciate the continued encouragement you provide me and so many others, with your passion to ACTIVATE. Thank you for providing a platform for businesswomen to be heard, seen and guided to the next level. Bless you, for bringing HSN to your Activate 2015 Conference, making Powers that be (at HSN) accessible to others. God places many in your life, certain ones for specific reasons. Let’s just say, my Activate is on, and we are coming through drippin’ B.O.S.S…
Finally, credit and public acknowledgment to my sister and brother-in-law, Susan Barr and Michael Wright (Actor, Eddie Kane, Five Heart-beats), I commend you both for creating an ending to this wonderful book title THE BOSS WAY. Love Always
