    1 The World of SEO

    Think about the last time you had a question. It might have been something like, Where should I go to eat for lunch today?, Do you know the current exchange rate for Australian to USD?, What is a female deer called? or What’s the weather like next month in Tokyo?. No matter your question, the likelihood is that you either did one of the following:

    It’s interesting because if you asked a person, and they didn’t have the answer, they would have probably turned to their phone or computer, and searched for the answer for you. Our generation simply doesn’t have the time to go research and find the answers ourselves. We want someone to give it to us. We want an easy way to find these answers, presented to us in a list, and all we have to do is decide which one is the most appropriate.

    Millions of people get online each day for different reasons. It is said that over 75% of online experiences start with a search engine. These users are searching for services and products to buy, news and information to read, or social media and blogs to engage with others on.

    You have people who are ready to buy, and looking for answers!

    But where are YOU?

    If you are a business, a service, or just someone who can provide value to any of these eager consumers, you want to be IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES, and at the top of these search results! Latest statistics show that the first five listings of a Google search results page receive 67% of all clicks. That means, if you aren’t at the top of this list, the likelihood of you gaining that new visitor has drastically decreased.
