Introduction
I want to thank you for choosing this book, ‘How to Analyze people Ultimate Guide: Learn Psychology, Body Language, Perception, Types of Personalities & Universal Rules,’ and hope you find it informative.
No two individuals in this world are the same. They differ in more ways than one. It is not just their physical appearance and social status but also their mental make-up and prowess.
It is difficult to pinpoint what a person is thinking at any given point in time. It is even more difficult to categorize people into personality types based on general observations. However, this book has made an attempt to demarcate one personality from another and, in the process, help you to recognize each one of them.
Penned down as a guidebook for you to understand human psychology and decipher emotions, hidden or otherwise, this book boasts of containing some of the best mind-hacks you may need to grasp the human mind better.
Let us then begin our journey.
Chapter 1: Personality Types
We keep trying to box people into categories as soon as we meet them. We try to find the right tags for people we come across. A jabbering guy would be termed extrovert while a shy guy would be given the tag of an introvert. Human behavior has always been the subject of great wonder and study. It has got layers to it. The surface is barely scratched when we categorize people as introvert or extrovert.
Certain tests may help you determine various aspects of one’s personality. Personalities are not binary; they have several facets to them. It is utterly naive to expect human personalities to be one-dimensional. It is only by asking questions that we can arrive at an answer that has been attempted from various angles, thereby allowing us a holistic view of something as grand as human personality.
Extroverts vs. Introverts
Introverts are people who take their sweet time responding to a particular question. They wait to receive the full information about the question so asked. They are not impatient to jump to answering as soon as a substantial portion of the question is over. They calmly wait until the question is over, ask whether there is a follow-up to it or not and then spend another two minutes to frame their response. This is the ideal way to describe how an introvert’s response goes.
On the other hand, an extrovert would launch into answering-mode even before you have finished your question. They would appear excited to tell you every single thing they know about the subject of the question. They may not even wait for you to catch a gasp. They will simply talk over you and shut you up in case you seem to protest their sudden intrusion into the proceedings. It is in their nature to impose their knowledge upon unsuspecting victims.
You must have come across people who label you as either an introvert or an extrovert. Stay away from such labeling practices. It is very easy to make a first impression of a person and tag them under either of these categories. However, learn the art of delving further
