About this ebook
“I put my issues on hold, as I wanted to help him. In fact, I wanted to help many people. At the time, I was unaware that I focussed on helping many to avoid dealing with the memories and emotions that I had stored within...
“In April 2016, after consistently saying that I was a ‘social drinker’, I finally realised and accepted that I was an alcoholic. That fact alone caused feelings of shame and I never mentioned it to anyone at the time. Prior to that, every year, I would make my ‘New Year’s resolution’ to stop drinking without fail. I made promises I did not keep. When I accepted that I was an alcoholic, I had to know why I was drinking; admission was the first step to my recovery.”

I am not writing this book to seek confirmation of what I am about to share, nor am I writing to impress anyone. My goal is to provide information that can assist you in finding enlightenment (ultimate happiness) – a feeling that nothing and no one can replace.
If you recall when you first started using a computer, it was very complicated. However, as you showed more interest and spent more time learning how to use it, it became easier. The mind is the same, of course, as it is the mind that created the computer. If we commit to learning how the mind works, we will unlock our full potential, which, I might add, is limitless.
By applying interest to yourself, you are able to learn how we function, what really causes anger, sadness, hate and so on.
Being conscious is the awareness of one’s behaviours and thoughts, as well as the ability to accept, challenge and change these behaviours and thoughts.
The information I obtained came from spending many days and nights alone in silence with no distractions, just focussing on my mind. At the start, I would listen to others who searched the internet and have even searched myself on how to find enlightenment. There is so much information available that it could easily misdirect you.
At the time, I was focussing on acquiring wealth; as many of us would agree, we were raised with a view that wealth ultimately leads to happiness. So I spent some time listening to many different manifestation meditations, which I easily found online. However, I thought that if I needed to
