Making Peace With Downsizing: At Any Stage of Life
()
About this ebook
Downsizing at any stage of life can come as a welcome guest or as an unwelcome guest. For those that welcome the process, it can, even in time, become overwhelming. For those that dread the reality, it can be paralyzing. But the only way is through it.
Debbie challenges our thinking with a common sense face-to-face look at why it's hard to let go. And then assures us that we can and will embrace the ability and decision to make peace with downsizing.

If there has been one statement made to me as a Professional Organizer more than any other, it is, Please tell people not to die and leave a whole household full of stuff for their kids to go through.
Spoken with all the anxiety and frustration of those who have been there and done that.
What these folks are asking of me is to ask the aging to please downsize their household while they are still alive and not leave it for their kids to sort. Downsizing a household is painful for the grieving.
