Terrell sat back on the sofa, the cushions perfectly plumped and set behind his back, although most certainly not by his hand, much like his mop of brown hair could have really done with a comb, at the very least. Sure, he was good enough at cleaning himself but that kind of fine detail had never been something that ever caught his attention all that much. Who really cared if the spots of dust from behind the cabinets were all swept up and away, nice and tidy? No one ever saw behind them anyway!

His new maid, however, seemed to have a fine eye for detail and hummed as she tootled about her work, a thickly feathered feather duster clasped in her red-scaled paw. The dragoness carried a tune that only she knew, swapping easily from four legs to two as she cleaned high and low through his sitting room. The kitchen had been done first and that had been spectacle enough as she made little sounds that could have been of disapproval or something else entirely, her slender tongue clicking and clucking against the roof of her mouth as she worked.
