No self respecting woman will admit to being anything but over forty. I live in Missouri (pronounced Missoura) with my husband and my little hobby farm. It includes five dogs, three cats, two guinea pigs, and about forty chickens and ducks. It keeps me very busy. I like being busy because it doesn't give me time to think about the bad things in life. I lost my leg in 2013 do to a military problem. It's complicated. Moving out here was the best thing we could have done. I don't miss the cold nor the snow of Maine. I started the writing thing in 2004. In actuality I have been writing since I was 12. Mostly it was poems until I read Fifty Shades. Then I decide I could do that. So, here we are. I write erotica, romance, clean romance and ya.

    DEDICATION

This series has been a labor love for many years. I started in Maine and completed it in Missouri. My husband has been the pusher I needed to get this finished and published on smashwords. There are too many friends to thanks but I will say Julie Morgan, Alicia Maslo, and Amy Miles have helped me keep going.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I would like to acknowledge all my friends. They stand beside me and keep me going.

    Prologue

Why do you want me? he asked. She stood there glaring at him. Adam was one of the men she had always wanted. Her mother loved him. It was perfect.

Because you are so very handsome, she replied.

Aideen, I’m three times your age, Adam answered. They were standing in the field of the second plain.

You don’t want me, she asked, looking as seductive as she could manage. Her siren spell was in action.

That is not the case. There is certainly nothing wrong with your siren song. However, I am old enough to know better, he answered with a smile.

What? She tried to be coy.

I came here because you said it was important and involved the future of both covens. Now what did you want? Adam stood with his hands firmly on his hips.

You know Michael’s death was hard on the entire family. It may have only been two days ago, but I still feel it, she said batting her eyes.

That’s a good one, Adam laughed.

    Shut up.

    Please go on, Adam said.

As I was saying, everyone felt his loss. It hasn’t been the same. I propose we get rid of both councils and let everyone fend for themselves. As she spoke Adam noticed something strange. Inside her blue eyes fire was dancing. He knew then he only had moments to save his life.

I thought for sure being the Queen of something would suit you well, he said with a smile.

I’m not the Queen, she replied, looking confused.

Certainly. You have an entire coven at your disposal. They have to follow your rules and wait on your every need. Isn’t that being a Queen, Adam said struggling to quell the fire. He glanced over to see it was not as bright.

I never thought of it that way.

I’m not saying we can’t work together, but learn to love your position and all its benefits first.

Aideen flipped her bright hair over her should. She paced back and forth. Adam couldn’t help but
