Charlotte opened the package. It came from her grandmother in China and she was definitely surprised to get it. She had recently talked with her on the phone, but she didn’t expect her to send her anything. All she had done was complain about how her marriage was boring. Still, it was a nice gesture.

In the small cardboard box was a plastic bag of tea and a letter. She opened it and sighed.
