His mouth was pulled up in a wry grin, and though I was somewhat frightened by the prospect of an unsavory plan, I suddenly found myself willing to do whatever he asked of me. I was a little ashamed of myself, but I knew that there was no way I could say no to a face as handsome as his.

My eyelashes fluttered, and he chuckled - I must've looked quite silly. After all, I'd gotten this affected by a simple smile. However, I'd like to think that any sensible woman would've done the same in my situation.

"What are you planning?" I asked him. He instantly burst into his characteristic laughter, and I couldn't help but smile along. I could listen to his voice all day, and I wasn't embarrassed to admit that. It was dark, rich, and sensuous, and my ears simply couldn't get enough of it. Heart thudding, I held eye contact with him.

"Was it that obvious?" He grinned, fingers still in my hair, playing with it. I nodded, pressing myself flush against him and staring deep into those bright eyes of his. Though his true feelings were hard to read, I was starting to pick up on his more subtle cues as time went by - and that twinkle, that smirk - those signified plans.

There were arms around my waist when I woke up. For a moment, I was panicked - I was so unused to being touched in such a manner that the sensation was still entirely foreign to me. However, the arms were warm. They were strong. And most importantly, they were extremely comfortable.

Relaxing, I instinctively leaned my head back. The man behind me had a broad chest - firm and exceedingly attractive. I could hear his heartbeat through his shirt, and the sound soothed me. My legs entwined with his own, and I had truly never experienced bliss like that before. He kissed the top of my head, and I giggled in response, the world still fuzzy at the edges due to my half-asleep state.

I rolled over to face the man that had somehow become my lover. Lord Evans smiled down at me, cupping my face and kissing me deeply. I was suddenly somewhat self-conscious, worried that he wouldn't particularly enjoy seeing me in my natural state - hair frizzy, face devoid of cosmetics, eyes drowsy and half-shut.

However, he dispelled these worries of mine with two simple words. The words that meant the world to me, the words that reminded me of how much he cherished my company.

You're beautiful- He cooed, running his long, elegant fingers through my admittedly messy locks. He proceeded to plant kisses all over me - sweet, soft kisses that made my head spin. I already wanted him so badly, and I had only just woken up. I supposed I couldn't help myself - Lord Evans tended to have this effect on me after all.

Judging by the sun's rays, it was already late afternoon - but my master had allowed me extra sleep today. I couldn't be luckier - he was nipping at my neck, moving his perfect body against my own. I didn't know what I had done to deserve such a life, but I certainly wasn't complaining in the slightest.
