About this ebook
Once upon a time, Larson, a skinny brown mole, lived above ground in a spacious green meadow with his parents and two beautiful sisters. One day, five years ago, they discovered they were in danger when the long-legged ones arrive, and so the moles moved to a new home underground. Although Larson is happy in his new home, he longs to see the blue sky again.
He tries many inventive ways to get to the surface, but nothing seems to work. His sisters think hes being silly, but while digging for grubs for the family dinner, Larson catches a glimpse of a small ray of light. Determined, Larson uses his wits and experiments with many methods of trying to get above ground to see the blue sky and feel the sun on his face.
Larson, a story for children, shows what can happen when you believe in yourself; your dreams can come true.

Dawn Hull is a Writer!!! For 30 years she taught First Grade and Targeted Intervention in the Frederick County Public School System in Maryland. Dawn taught hundreds of children to read and write. When Dawn’s nephew West was about 4 years old she had the opportunity to babysit for him in the summer; actually for many many summers. In those hot lazy days, Dawn viewed West as a buddy and began realizing that this skinny little fellow was funny, intense and a kind creature to write about. West became the main character of Dawn’s first book “Larson,” a little brown skinny mole. Larson is Dawn’s West! She turned West’s adventures and secrets into Larson’s. Dawn also writes about West’s real family; Olivia, Tom, two perfect beautiful sisters, Nana and of course “Pops.” Larson gave Dawn the best gifts; surviving breast cancer and a kidney transplant whose kidney was her husband’s. Dawn is married to Timmy and has a beautiful daughter Ashley and a precious granddaughter Adalyn.
