About this ebook

Life is a trip and pain is a transportation technique for men who have
not forgotten whence they came from yet still know where they are going.
Judges 19:17
Its remarkable that the vision speaks of the end, but who and what shall
take us through the vicissitudes and mayhem of this short life while we
try to figure out who we are, what do we posses and how can we serenely
accomplish Thee Dream, it is the Teething process that defines how, it
comes with pain nevertheless it will make your jawbone muscular and
put down new teeth.

    Dedication

The race is not just for the swift or victory for the strong, but time along with opportunity happens to them all. Let me capture this corner to appreciate the facilitation of God’s holy person, who has been there for me through my vicissitudes, with thankfulness in this inventive manuscript of which I am a faultless reflection. Lord Jesus, I applaud you with an award that credits you for creating a public scandal for my enemy.

    My Family

Mom, without you I would not have been here. The hard times of my life attest to your true love. When everybody lost hope, you silently cared for me, although God took Soweto.

Gee, you have always protected me. I am aware of that. Xoli, I thank you for believing I am the foremost true creation of greatness. The Parliament seat awaits you, Nomzamo. My niece, S’nenhlanhla, I am here for you. Now, how do I disregard Nzuzo to whom I gave a legendary kiss prior to his departure? Siphesihle, know that I am devoted to you and to you alone. Siphokuhle, the door is unlocked, boy.

Let this be water to drink for Mr Khumalo and Uncle Bhekimpi Mchunu and Apostle S Ndlovu.

    My Spiritual Family

God’s purpose—the Church, how could I be ungrateful? When you hooked me up with my dreams, now I am developing myself. Mrs Mathe, you are a fond spiritual nurse. You have begotten me in the Lord, hence I am an artefact of your sway. My unarguable links in which friendship has found us will not forget the people I didn’t mention. In addition, to the special individuals who called on me day after day to know about my wellness, this is how I am doing to the best of God’s abilities, ceaselessly unconcerned as I am taken care of. Good gracious people, what muffins can this wisdom prepare us. Some wish that they could come out of this prison, but how I wish I could be imprisoned forever in God’s presence. Moreover, to those who kneel to mention my spirit in prayers, I am fighting fit now. This is just an inauguration of the fight to evidence the happiness of life not being the subject of people who left me broke, but they who love you even when you are broken in life.

    Haters, dodge this bullet now.

Just Teething for a New Thing

‘The Lord hath done this for me,’ she said. ‘In these days He has shown His favour and taken away my disgrace among the people.’

Why out of the blue would one use this passage? It fashions a thought, doesn’t? Through the elfin years of my existence, I have discovered and thus become conscious of one common product to every man who inhales and exhales. If men were a supermarket, they would never run short of this product, which is ‘pain’. Pain is common. Such awareness leaves mental conception at the thought that even the writer of your wakeup call has pains just like you have.

Every so often, nobody sees or knows what you are going through, including yourself. Despite the fact that we are in dealings with our families, friends, and brethren, we find ourselves trying to appear as ‘fine people’. I personally have odium for lions which are always fine when even elephants can get sick. Deep down, we know when we are not who we are but who we are trying to be. Have you ever greeted someone several times, and he said, ‘I am trying’?

We are just smiling, using smile as a technique to hide the pain we contain. This pain may result from having to deal with unlikely issues of this ephemeral life. These issues are not coming out to be what you have desired, perceived, or prayed them to be. Something is happening inside you while others are happening externally. The truth is that some of us have angry baboons within us. Don’t wait till the baboon shows up through your simple face because it will be too burly to deal with.

I, for one, believe these are the chapters of life that we do not want anyone to read about. Take note of what I called it. I did not say it is the end. I said it is a chapter; a chapter is for a lesson. Well, in one’s life, as though a life is a book, there are many chapters, and this one is the most poignant chapter of the chapters of life. We begin to live our lives knowing how pain has knocked us down from within, but on our facial expression, we act as if everything is ‘cool’. That’s why you must be careful of tigers who never cry. Their death is shockingly sudden.

My conversation with you is about the pain you felt when you fell as if a poisonous bullet was shot at you right there where you are most weak, and someone expected you to keep ‘the constant smile’. This chat is long overdue. Let’s get it done with now.
