About this ebook

In this book, Eva Pilch cleverly expresses the way she sees things through her eyes in inspiring poetry. She also shows you the things she literally saw through her eyes in photographs, which include everything from awe-inspiring nature to her own unique displays of various messages. Explore the mind, love, hate, happiness, struggles, social injustice and even the age old question of the meaning of life. There are also some surprises. It is a book that will capture you into curling up with it on the couch. Then you’ll want to leave it on your coffee table to flip through and entertain your guests with.

I would like to dedicate this book to my parents,

Eugenia and Miroslaw Pilch, for their support.

I would also like to thank Mrs. Johnson, my seventh grade teacher.

She insisted I submit a poem I wrote for an assignment into the school newspaper and wanted me to show her all my work. Her encouragement made me believe I should continue growing as a poet.

My favorite advice to give is my favorite advice to be reminded of.

Life is so delicate, fate has to be keeping us alive.

When your number is up, fate lets go.

After is unknown to scare us to strive to survive.

Our human minds can’t comprehend, though.

So I don’t believe in theory, but in surprise.

Past fades, future unclear, the present:

    In our hands it lies.

Each moment becomes the previous moment.

    You want to end it?

    Pretend you did!

    This is now extra credit.

    Stop having your fit.

    Do not wilt anymore.

    Turn around from the dark.

    Do anything once more.

Give that to-do list a mark.

No matter the weather, it’s always interesting.

    Let it go. Release yourself.

For you, a beautiful day is waiting.

Leave your worries on the shelf.

    If the day goes wrong,

    Tomorrow will come inevitably

    Where you’ll be among,

    If you are lucky!

Don’t forget those cut in their prime

    Like a beautiful flower.

    Strong lesson
