Hi, my name is Emma Harris. I am 17 years old. I was born on the 8th June 1993. I live in Ireland, just in a small village outside of Naas in Co. Kildare.

I have a learning disability so I attend a school in Newbridge called St. Marks. I got the idea to write the book after my best friend and I were playing a game in my back garden.

It took me three years to write all four books which I then decided to put into one book.

Chapter 1

The Incredible Journey

There was once a very dried up planet called Raven’s Desert. Many people lived there, along with a few vampires and many nasty and naughty mini fairies. But all that was about to change. The evil Skeleton King had been watching from a distance. He said to himself, ‘I am going to try and destroy Raven’s Desert. I will take all the defenceless people that live there and turn them into my slaves’. Skeleton King called his Formless (the Skeleton King’s evil army) over and said to every one of them, ‘Go and destroy Raven’s Desert, and take all of the people that live there and make them my prisoners’. The Formless left the Skeleton King and headed towards Raven’s Desert. The vampires, however, are always ready for the Formless. Every time the Formless get stronger and stronger and harder to beat. After fighting for a while, Godric said, ‘It is not working. The Formless just keep getting harder to beat’. Godric’s sister replied in an unusual and surprised voice, ‘I know, but what are we supposed to do? Give up and let the Skeleton King win?’

There was a pause for a moment, after which all they could hear was ‘Yes, and then all I will have to do is take over Sun Light Palace, and then I am in control of the world’. While the Skeleton King was talking away to himself, Godric was trying to remember the name of the place where Holly lived. A second after the Skeleton King said, ‘Sun Light Palace’, a bell went off in Godric’s head.

A few days before the evil Skeleton King showed up in Raven’s Desert, Godric was in the magical library flicking through the pages of the Heroes Book when he came across a sun fairy that destroyed the human side of the Skeleton King that lived in Sun Light Palace. She also got the name ‘Princess of Light’ in another planet for restoring all light and colour to it. Godric was amazed with what he was reading.

After the Skeleton King finally left, Godric and Ava headed off to Captain Valkyrie’s room in the pirate Sky Ship called Blood River. He said to him, ‘Nothing is working anymore, and it is time to go and get help’.

‘I know nothing is working, Godric, but where do we go to get this help?’ asked Captain Valkyrie.

‘A planet called Sun Light Palace. There is a fairy called the Princess of Light there, and she destroyed the human side of the Skeleton King’, replied Godric.

So Captain Valkyrie turned on the engine, and a few seconds later, Ava asked Godric, ‘Do you know the girl’s name before we go any further?’

Godric replied, ‘Eh, I am not sure, but I think it is Holly’.

Ava walked out and said to herself, ‘Great, we are relying on Godric to try and remember the girl’s name’.

The journey was going well until they had gone past the Rainbow Dreams planet. Then a dreadful sandstorm and windstorm came and started pushing the Sky Ship backwards.

Meanwhile, in Sun Light Palace, Holly was just getting out of school. She was heading to Hazel’s house when a light shone down on her and said, ‘Something is coming your way, and it wants your help’. After the light had finished speaking, it disappeared suddenly, and Holly continued walking to Hazel’s house trying to forget what she had just heard.

It is winter in Sun Light Palace, and all the fairies were getting ready to leave. But something was stopping them from leaving. The winter fairy had arrived and she was making the entire planet cold. All the fairies were getting weaker and weaker. Some of their flames were starting to go out. They kept trying to get out, but the sound barrier was stopping them, or so they thought (the sound barrier is an invisible gate in the sky). Holly continued walking towards the Skeleton King’s fortress to see what Hazel wanted. When she arrived outside of the evil fortress, Mandarin (the oldest brother of the Super Force who was tricked into joining the Skeleton King years ago) was outside, and he said to her, ‘Well, it certainly has been a long time since you have been here, hasn’t it, princess?’

‘Give it up, Mandarin. I am not in the humour’.

Mandarin opened the door for her. After she had walked in, he closed it and called the Skeleton King and said, ‘Sir, the princess is in the fortress now’. The Skeleton King replied in an evil voice, ‘Very good, Mandarin’.

Godric’s and the rest of the vampires’ journey to Sun Light Palace was very difficult because the wind was blowing so hard that it was always pushing the Sky Ship backwards. When the Sky Ship got out of the windstorm, there was a sandstorm waiting for them.

‘Now see if you can get through that’, said the Skeleton King, grinning away to himself.

‘What! That is impossible’, said the Skeleton King. ‘Nothing is stopping that Sky Ship’.

‘What is impossible, Dad?’ asked Rolin (the Skeleton King’s only son).

‘It is that annoying Sky Ship. It is heading to Sun Light Palace to see if that annoying Princess Holly will help them to stop us’.

When the Sky Ship was flying through Space, Godric kept noticing fairies sitting on different moons in different places in Space. He was getting very nervous. The Skeleton King was getting more annoyed with the Sky Ship. So Rolin said, ‘Dad, calm down. I will not let those useless vampires get near the Princess of Light’. It did not work. The Skeleton King was thinking of something else and then he said, ‘Wait, Rolin. Did Hazel ask if Holly could come here today after school?’ Rolin answered in a very positive voice, ‘Yes, I think so. Why do you ask, Dad?’

‘Oh, you will see when Hazel and Holly get here’. He grinned his evil grin, and he walked into Hazel’s room and hid in there.

A few minutes later, Hazel and Holly walked in, and Hazel started to shout, ‘Dad, are you here? Dad, are you here?’ However, there was no answer because he was hiding in her room. They walked down the corridor to Hazel’s room. Holly waited outside while Hazel went into her room. A second later, Hazel’s bedroom door swung open and out jumped the Skeleton King. He said to her, ‘Well, well, if it is not the Princess of Light. Holly looked at the Skeleton King and said, ‘For the last time, you bag of bones, I am not a princess. I just used to live with the king and queen. And, yes, people call me the Princess of Light, but I don’t know why’. The Skeleton King looked surprised and said to her, ‘You are the only one that holds the power to save or destroy this whole universe’. Holly said to Hazel, ‘I will see you tomorrow’. Before Holly left Hazel, she shouted to her and said, ‘Wait, here is the note I wanted to talk to you about’. Holly was walking past the Skeleton King when he lowered his sharp sceptre. It dragged along her arm, and he said to her, ‘Think about it. If you rejoined here, everything would be different. We would not have to fight anymore’ Holly answered him back and said, ‘I will never come back here and work for you, and this I swear".

As soon as Holly landed in Sun Light Palace, Relaxa came up to her and said, ‘Holly, where were you? I have been worried sick about you’.

‘Relaxa, I was with Hazel in the Skeleton King’s fortress, because she wanted to give me something’. Holly walked away and Relaxa said to her, ‘Where are you going now?’

‘To the Lake of Light’, replied Holly.

Holly was at the lake when she remembered Hazel’s letter. So she read it, and then she headed up to the Skeleton King’s fortress.

When Holly arrived, the Skeleton King said to her, ‘What are you doing back here, and have you thought of my offer?’

‘I am here to free Hazel, and no, I have not because I am not coming back here ever’.

‘Fine, take the little useless girl’. So Hazel and Holly went back down to Sun Light Palace and Holly asked Relaxa, ‘Could Hazel stay with them?’ Luckily, he said, ‘Yes’.

Meanwhile, the Skeleton King was planning a huge battle that included the Sky Ship that had just reached the border of Sun Light Palace.

Meanwhile, all the fairies were in shock when they saw the Sky Ship trying to get into Sun Light Palace. However, they were all too busy to try to stop the Sky Ship from getting into Sun Light Palace.

Later that night, Rolin was walking around in Sun Light Palace when he bumped into Megan and said to her, ‘Hey, watch where you are going’. He continued walking home to the fortress. When he returned home, there was no one home. So he walked into his room and did his homework for the next day. But his mind was on other things, and he found it really difficult to get his work done. He knew he had to get away from the fortress soon before he went insane with all the coldness and the madness of his father. He finally got all of his homework done. That night when he was trying to get sleep, he kept seeing a person from a long time ago but couldn’t remember who it was. It was making him really annoyed because he could recognise the person’s voice, but he just couldn’t remember who it was. Rolin couldn’t sleep at all that night. He kept seeing a scene that happened from years ago that was making him really upset, and he started to get worried about the little bit of friends he had made. But, of course, he didn’t have many friends because of his dad being the most evil person in the whole universe.

It was getting near to morning when Christina, Merlana and Rolin were woken up by a huge bang in the layer of the formless (which is where all the formless are kept until they are unleashed on the world. They got up to see what had happened, but of course, there was nothing there as usual. They were all really tired, so they all headed back to bed and went to sleep for a while. But Rolin still couldn’t sleep. He still kept seeing the girl in his dreams but couldn’t remember who she was. When morning arrived, they all got up and got ready and headed off to school. Rolin was so tired that he didn’t even know what he was doing. As he was walking down to the school, he walked into Holly and spilt most of her bottle of water down on her uniform. So she turned to him and said, ‘Are you OK, Rolin? You look really sleepy’.

‘Oh, sorry about your uniform, Holly. It’s just that I didn’t sleep at all last night, and when I did, I kept seeing a girl from my past disappearing out of my life’. Holly was getting really confused, so she said, ‘Well, I don’t want to be late for class, so I will see you later’. And she tapped him on the face to wake him up a bit. Rolin watched as Holly walked up into the school and disappeared into the crowd of people. He walked up and got his book and went to class. Rolin really hated school because he always got picked on for being the son of the most evil man in the whole wide world.

Today they had gymnastics, one of the things Rolin really hated because he wasn’t flexible at all. But he loved to watch all the fairy girls practicing all their moves. His eyes, however, were always on Holly and she caught him a few times looking over at her and she had no idea why. At the end of school, she went up to him and said, ‘Look, stop looking at me. People are talking, and I don’t like it. So leave me alone, Rolin’. Rolin didn’t want to hear this at all. He was getting really upset as Holly was shouting at him, and then he just stormed past her. Holly didn’t want to make Rolin upset or annoyed with her; she just wanted him to back off. But in all honest Holly was also fighting her feeling she also liked Rolin but wouldn’t tell anyone about it. She put back all her book for into her locker and then started walking back to the house. When Holly arrived home, her mind was on other things, and the Super Force could notice it. During practice, Holly couldn’t pay attention, so they stop training and let her go off for the evening with her friends to try and get her to calm down. But it didn’t work at all. No one knew what Holly was thinking of, and they were all getting suspicious. Everyone would die if they knew Holly had been thinking of Rolin all day.

Later that evening, when Holly said ‘goodbye’ to her friends, she didn’t return to the house. She stayed out for most of the night. She was sitting down at the Lake of Light when Rolin came over to her and said, ‘I’m sorry, I annoyed you earlier today. I wouldn’t do it again. I swear to you’.

‘It’s really OK, Rolin. I shouldn’t have snapped at you’.

‘You’re alright, Holly? But why are you out so late at night? Won’t you get into trouble with the Super Force?’

‘Yes, I most probably will, but still I don’t really care because I need a bit of time to think’.

‘Think about what, Holly?’

‘What has happened the last couple of months. That is what I mean, Rolin’. They stayed talking for ages and ages.

Hazel’s letter read as follows:

Dear Holly,

Please help me to escape from this horrible place. I can’t stand it here anymore. As you already know, I am treated like a slave, and I can’t deal with it anymore. I would be forever grateful if you helped me. If you choose to help me, thank you; and if you don’t, I will see you tomorrow in school.

Chapter 2

Magical Disaster

Sometimes Holly and her brother Relaxa don’t get along, just like today, and they started fighting on top of a telephone post. When people in Sun Light Palace start arguing or they are fighting, they choose a high place to settle their differences. So Holly and Relaxa chose the telephone post. When Relaxa launched his attack, it was so hard and powerful, it pushed Holly right off and into a very cold and snowy magical black hole. As Holly was falling, she hit off a very weird Sky Ship. Holly did not fall into the magical black hole at first. No, firstly she fell into a path of snow. It was still really cold, and she knew that it wasn’t going to be doing her flame any good at all lying in the freezing cold snow.

When Holly arrived in the magical black hole, she hit her face off a frozen rock. It made her scar even worse. Holly got her scar when Relaxa launched his attack on the telephone post. Then it got even bigger when she hit it off the Sky Ship. The reason Holly got the scar really quickly is because fairies have really soft and gentle skin.

The magical black hole is a giant maze. You would certainly get lost in it. The reason why Holly and Relaxa were fighting was because Holly was to be back home at 3:00 p.m. Holly did not return home till 12:00 a.m., and Relaxa just got so annoyed with her because it was a school night, and she should have come back to get ready instead of doing nothing outside all night.

The Super Forces were out looking for Holly all afternoon and evening. But it was so strange that anywhere they looked, they could not find her. So they gave up for a while, not knowing that they would be in so much trouble with the citizens and the king and queen for not guarding Sun Light Palace.

‘We are so sorry. But we were out looking for Holly because someone pushed her off the telephone post, and now no one knows where she is’, said Nova.

Relaxa bent his head in shame but did not say anything.

Later that day, Holly was trying to get off the cold, wet and snowy ground, but the strong wind kept pushing her over. The very last time Holly tried, she fell over and hit her ankle off a very hard frozen rock.

When the Sky Ship was trying to get in to Sun Light Palace, there was something stopping them. The Super Force had put up an electric sound gate, to try and keep the Skeleton King out. But the captain was not going to let the sound gate win. He broke it into millions of pieces of glass that fell all over Sun Light Palace.

While the Sun Light Palace fairies were cleaning up all the glass, June went over to Silva and said to her, ‘Go and pretend that you are the Super Force’s new chosen one, and stay with them until their new one comes. Got it?’

‘Alright’, said Silva, though she did not really want to do it; she thought that it might be quite mean to pretend to be someone you are not. But June was a lot more powerful than her. So she had no choice and just walked away from the rest of the fairies.

When the Sky Ship landed, all the citizens stopped what they were doing and started looking at the Sky Ship.

It was 8:00 p.m. when Relaxa finally returned to Robot (a house, but they call it a Robot because it is so big) to find a young girl sitting in the corridor of the Robot. So he kneeled down and said to the girl, ‘What are you doing here?’ The girl replied in a silent, whispery and scared voice, ‘I don’t know. I just woke up here, and I can’t find my mum anywhere’. Relaxa closed the door, and Nova walked out and said to him, ‘She was here when I came back. I did not know what to do’. Relaxa bent down to her again and said to her, ‘What is your name?’

‘It is Magic’. (Sliva the fairy that was tricked by June to pretend to the Super Force she was someone she was not)

‘Alright, Magic, can you remember where you were before you were brought here?’

‘Yes, Planet Diamond Zone’, she replied.

No one knows how Magic got from Diamond Zone to Sun Light Palace. But the Super Force were going to try their best to get Magic home. Relaxa brought Magic down to her room. But when they were walking down, Hazel came out of the room and said to Relaxa, ‘Who is this young girl?’

‘Hazel, this is Magic. She is going to be staying with us, until we can return her to Diamond Zone’.

‘What?’ said Hazel in a shocked voice. Hazel knew that it was Magic just acting sweet and innocent in front of the Super Force. ‘Where is Magic going to sleep?’ asked Hazel.

‘In yours and Holly’s room, of course. Where else would she go?’ asked Relaxa. Hazel was thinking to herself, ‘She could stay in the spare room’. But she could not say anything because the Super Force did not have to let Hazel stay with them. Hazel brought Magic into the room. After she closed the door, Hazel said to her, ‘I know who you are. Don’t think you are going to be fool me because you’re not going to’.

‘Wait, Hazel. You don’t get it. June dared me to do this. Or she would have told Queen Lovesea that I do nothing around this place, and I will have to leave’.

‘OK. But do not do anything foolish. Got it?’

‘Yes, I do’. So Hazel closed the window and closed the curtain and lay in her bed thinking where Holly could have gotten to. Then after a long time of twisting and turning, she fell asleep.

The next morning it was terribly cold, and the planet was full of clouds. Everyone wished that Holly would just come back and warm back up to the planet and get rid of all the snow. But everyone knew that wasn’t going to happen because she was most probably weak, powerless and drained on energy. Hazel set out for her normal morning walk down by the Lake of Light and then up past the Sea of Dreams. But she got a huge shock when she saw Rolin standing there on the beach. She walked over to him and asked, ‘Hi, Rolin. What are you doing here? Dad is going to be so angry that you left the fortress without telling him’.

‘I don’t really care, Hazel. He might be my dad, but I want nothing to do with him. I hate him’.

‘I know you do, and so do I. But what are you going to do? Holly fought to free me from Dad. How are you going to escape?’

‘Just don’t go back to the fortress ever again’.

‘That’s foolish. He will come after you. Well, anyway, I have to go, and I will see you soon, Rolin’. He watched as she disappeared back into Sun Light Palace. He stayed on the beach for ages, and then he saw a huge group of people coming down. So he quickly disappeared back to the fortress where he didn’t want to go back to. He started packing up his stuff and then he headed back to Sun Light Palace. But everyone was really scared of him, and now there was no Holly to protect them from any of the Skeleton King’s family. But Rolin wasn’t the evil one. He was just misunderstood by everyone around him because of his weird and evil family. A little while later, heavy rain started lashing out on Sun Light Palace. Rolin could see that all the fairies were already sick because of all the cold,and now all the wetness had worsened their flames. He was standing at the edge of the Lake of Light when he saw a fairy. He touched her and saw that she was frozen cold, but he didn’t know what to do for the poor thing. He left Holly a few minutes later to get back home to the fortress, so his dad wouldn’t ask him a thousand questions like: Where have you been? What have you been doing? Why are you covered in snow and looking freezing cold? When Rolin returned to Sun Light Palace to see if Holly was OK, there was no sign of her anywhere. But then he heard someone saying, ‘Don’t worry. I am alright. I am sorry, I can’t tell you where I am, and I am sorry, I was mean to you. I should never be mean to a friend’. Rolin didn’t understand what was going on. He could hear someone talking, but he couldn’t see anyone. But if only Rolin had thought to look over at the Magical Black Hole, he would have seen Holly. He answered back to her, ‘Why wouldn’t you come out of your hiding place and actually talk to me instead of hiding?’

‘I can’t at the moment. I am extremely weak from a battle I fought a little while ago, and that is why I am in hiding, you see’.

‘But I still don’t understand’. Rolin waited for the response, but he got none. And then he started to get really cold with the ice-cold wind blowing. So he left. But he swore to himself that he would return tomorrow to see if the girl would actually revile herself.

He arrived back at the fortress and got warm again and thought about who the mystery person could have been. He never thought that it couldn’t have been Holly. He would have liked to think it was, but he knew it wasn’t. Rolin didn’t realise that he had a spy looking in at him. Holly really didn’t want to admit it, but she had a really big crush on Rolin. And she knew that if she said anything, all of her friends would laugh because to them Rolin was an ugly creep that only followed orders from his evil father. At first, Holly said bad things about him, but then she started to get feelings for the lad. So she stopped, although she couldn’t get her friends to stop. And then she started to feel really sorry for the lad. She wanted to help him, but she couldn’t, because she knew if she did, people would start to notice them. And they would soon realise what was going on between her and Rolin, even though there wouldn’t ever be anything going on because they come from two completely different worlds. She stayed there for ages just looking in and at him doing his homework. Then she heard someone calling him, and she didn’t want to get caught, so she hid and waited for a long time. She then saw that he was gone from his room, so she headed back to wherever she was going to stay for the night.

When Rolin went back into his room that evening and started doing his homework again, something kept catching his eyes. So he walked out to the window and opened it, and he picked up what looked like a tiny pearl. He looked at it and wonderedwhy the sun pearl was there and Holly was somewhere in Sun Light Palace. So he picked it up very gently, wrapped it up in a tissue and kept it safe. But what Rolin thought was a pearl was just a small stone painted to look like a pearl.

Chapter 3

Something Goes Right for Skeleton King

Out in Space the Skeleton King was planning something evil. He had been thinking about it for a long time now, and he was sure it was going to work for him. He didn’t say a word to his children, but who says they were upset about it. They were actually pleased that they did not have to listen to another one of their father’s silly and crazy plans. They knew the plan wasn’t going to work because none of his plans ever do. This one was going to turn out the same way, or so they thought.

When Christina walked into her class room, there was no sign of Holly anywhere, and she thought that was great. On the way home from school, there was a huge thunderstorm, a huge rainstorm and a sleet-and-snow blizzard. They all got soaked and frozen at the same time. All the fairies including Holly were getting freezing cold and the flames inside of them had started to go out. Merlana, Christina and Rolin had just returned home from school,
