Are we the only people in this world? There’s no one here except us, and the animals!
He asked.
He had walked to every corner of this Island and the only thing he could see was the sea; water surrounding them everywhere. They lived on an Island in the middle of the sea.
Yes, we are the only people in this World with the animals we have here
She lied, paused, as she rubbed his hair.
There’s no other person Tabiel except us. Have gone to every place here?
She questioned.
"Yes.. I just was curious to see if there are other people here and I went everywhere looking for them! Tabiel said happily running back to the forest.
"Tabiel! Don’t go running to the end of the World again! She smiled playfully.
Ok, But I already know the area
He replied laughing.
Tabiel was now 10 years old. He had been born here after his mother Queen Nirie was stabbed by one of her maidens in waiting, and she had left baby Tabiel with Ralia who lived on Hidden Bird Island since she was 14 years old.
Ralia Bolger was 93 years old now. She was banished to the Hidden Bird Island after her parents died.
She killed her parents with her bad luck! She has to die before her curse spreads to the whole World
The people of Oc’Koriv Land had yelled and protested.
The people of Oc'Koriv were eager and excited to throw her down the Stiff Rock Waterfalls that afternoon after they brought her to the king for approval. But the King refused and told them, he was passing a Royal Assent to stop murdering young children. He wanted to forbid the people from committing this act of annihilating orphans and drowning them into the River.
Anyone was who considered cursed or with a disability was thrown down the Stiff Rock waterfalls cliff near the Crystal City in Oc’Koriv World.
Additionally, girls were carrying or had babies before marriage were also thrown down off Stiff Rock waterfalls cliff with their babies and the baby’s fathers.
The people of Oc’Koriv growled and forewarn the King that they would use Magic and Witchcraft to destroy him if he didn’t throw Ralia off the cliff. The King was dismayed and frightened considering that the chief witch was basically the head of social affairs in the palace, was on it too. Being very conversant with his enchantments he agreed to get rid of the girl.
He didn’t want to kill the girl because people were dying anyway with or without Ralia’s curse. He knew that his people were superstitious. He had always wondered why they hadn’t killed him after his father died!
The Girl was still young, he had had pity on her, he didn’t want to spill innocent young girls’ and boy’s blood anymore.
So consented and managed to persuade them to send the young orphan to Hidden Bird Island instead, but he was in grieving inside. All the people complied with the alternative cheerfully.
Everyone who was banished to Hidden Bird Island never survived more than two days, they all died immediately they looked at. Hidden Island was considered the worst punishment in Oc’Koriv Land. It was only for used for punishing murderers, the worst witches who had massacred a lot of people and the forbidden magic of eating humans and their hearts. King Baduk was certain she was not cursed because of being an orphan, but he had to do for himself and his Family. He persuaded the protestors to get rid of her by sending her to Hidden Bird Island. He pointed out that since she caused her parents, aunts, uncles, and the whole family to die of her curse, that would be the better punishment she deserved.
‘Banish her to Hidden Bird Island’ he had yelled. They Concurred with this enactment thinking the king had come along with this.
He thought; ‘I would rather send her away to Hidden Bird Island to die there, than execute her in front of these people and make a mockery of her’.
He was heartbroken every time they murdered these orphaned young children, even babies sometimes. He wanted it to stop but the land was polluted with superstitions and evil and as king he felt powerless.
In some way the Lord of Hidden Bird Island might save her since she is young and innocent.
He prayed as they grabbed her.
The Island was named Hidden Bird because there was one white giant eagle with large brown eyes, it was so strong and cunning that whenever it flew over to Oc’Koriv, people would tremble with fear and some evil witches and witches would worship it because most evil witches, wizards and magicians worshipped the bird, people thought that it was evil as well. The White Giant Eagle would just fly over, sit on one large tree near the ruined palace near Crystal City for a while, and then, on top of Portham Stronghold King’s Palace in Oc’Koriv where all kings lived. The Giant eagle come once or twice every year to Oc’Koriv Land for 3 days only, stop at the ruined palace near Crystal City then Portham Stronghold King’s palace and it would disappear until the following year.
They had never sent children to Hidden Bird Island; it was intended for evil people, who actually died before they reached the Island. Hidden Bird Island never allowed any human being who was evil to step on it, Oc’Koriv people believed. The King had thought that since this child was innocent she might survive there.
Ralia never forgot the kind and
