To my knowledge, there has never been a book like Poppy. This delightful and silly story will bring fun and laughter to everyone, especially when you read out loud. My wish, besides it being entertaining, is that Poppy will help children in need of better enunciation. Once you have read Poppy, you cant help but think, Ive never read anything like this. Poppy belonged to my two granddaughters, Brenna and Allie. He was a yellow mellow fellow, a parakeet. A rootie tootie cutie, mellow yellow fellow, a small gold parakeet named Poppy.

INTRODUCTION

Poppy is an entertaining and delightfully silly story about a yellow parakeet. It is a story full of humorous tongue-twisters and make-believe for the reader to enjoy. It is written to be read out loud for fun and laughter. My hope is it will help children learn speech and enunciation through the enjoyment and fun of reading.

I’ve seen no other book in a library where there has been a story written in tongue twisters before. I hope you enjoy reading Poppy as much as I enjoyed
