You had to step in on this series of The Great Pottery Throw Down, how did you feel when you got the call?

I was absolutely delighted. I have always wanted to work with Love Productions because I love the shows they make. I really enjoy watching people with a passion creating beautiful things that I never could. They are such warm, funny shows.

How would you describe your role in this series?

I really wanted to get to know the potters and be a friendly, supportive face for them.

I also wanted to let Siobhán know from the outset that I was viewing my job as being the guardian of her role. I messaged her on Instagram saying I was so sorry to hear about her leg and that she must rest up knowing that I was keeping her seat warm until she was ready to return.
