Poking my head out the kitchen window, I wondered why there was so much racket coming from the garden.
Only, my concern quickly turned to laughter.
My little boy, Frankie, eight, was running around the garden screaming and laughing with his pet hen perched on his shoulders like a big parrot.
To most mums, this would be an odd, if not terrifying, thing to witness in their garden.
