About this ebook

This book starts from my early childhood experiences in Johannesburg South Africa. Coming from an abusive home to later in Life facing many challenges in the US, from being homeless and receiving harsh treatment from past relationships.

I had ambitions but could not fulfill them,my belief in God became paramount when I tried to commit suicide. I was introduced to Gods salvation which led to my LIFE turning around.

This produced new direction to my LIFE and my personal goals.

    It was January 22, Daddy’s birthday. We were all excited. Mom and I baked a cake, and my brothers and I were patiently waiting for Daddy to come home.

    Happy birthday, Daddy! we shouted as we all ran and greeted him with kisses.

    We celebrated his birthday with happiness in our hearts. Everyone was excited to eat the cake.

    Yummy! This is so delicious. I love your cake, Mom, Neil said.

    After a good dinner, we went to our respective rooms to go to bed. I felt a sudden twist of emotions when I heard Mom and Daddy arguing on the other room. It was not new to my brothers and me, because they fought every single day. There has not been one day of peace at our house, even on Christmas, New Year’s, or birthdays.

    Lord Jesus, please end this misery. Please let us have peace in our hearts. I pray that my parents would have forgiveness and love in their hearts. I prayed.

    Then we heard glasses break. My dad was breaking all the dishes in the house. My brothers started screaming and crying. We were so scared. Then we heard my mom crying in the living room. My dad followed her and smashed the TV and the glass table.

    I hurriedly went to the living room and was shocked to see the worst scenario I could have imagined.

    No! I shouted.
