Introduction

As human beings, we all possess an ability far greater than any other animal on Earth—the ability to reason and make decisions.

This being so, what makes each of us a unique individual? After all, a dog is a dog, a cat is a cat, and a bird is a bird. Along with other animal species, they all behave quite similar within their classification.

So again, what makes each of us so different? I say it is the power of emotion, our own interpretation of these feelings and how they affect us.
