()
About this ebook
Walk through the fire. Fire is a purifier. Stress, pain, struggles, chaos, grief, rejection, fear, and failure is fi re. Walk through them all, and a brighter day will be there on the other side.
Stop. You have walked through enough mud and hurdled many obstacles. Silence is your friend. This is the time to search for peace. Listen to the voice of that little boy or girl that was you; listen to the dreams that were not answered. Listen to the inner voice that is speaking to you.
Observe your environment with a new outlook that has you in mind. This is the time to be wisely selfish. Can you see your future in a brighter day? Talking has been your excuse. Action is now your magic.
What is an obstacle? Is it a directional arrow, or is it a sign telling you to give up? Are you aware of the energy you are exuding? Are you aware of the energy you are living around? Redirect your motivation so it will help you live longer and help others understand you clearer.
To grow, you need to evaluate your presence and understand the changes you need to make.
Look at yourself; this is your current presence. Look back on your life and decipher the struggles and the celebration. Then turn around and live your life with God in mind in every STEP you take.

FORWORD
My hearts desire is to encourage others to find the reason for their very existence through spiritual life experiences; Biblical foundation verses any other worldly source.
As an ordained minister I found STEP (Stop Talking and Evaluate Your Presence) by Francis Milton very inspirational, and eye opening. I found it to be a book that was very practical, as well as deep and yet applicable to anyone desiring a more meaningful understanding of their true self, and God’s purpose for their very existence.
This book is refreshing, and will leave those daring to read it, and practice its principles very fulfilled, and satisfied with everyday life.

My book will prove that your dreams are real and that your goals are just waiting for you to STEP towards them.
I have many different experiences in life. I believe that we are here to help each other through our experiences. I hope I can help you understand life clearer.

STOP
Creation can only happen in the midst of silence

Silence
Some may say that this is a simple concept, silence. Whenever there is silence there is listening. In silence there is anticipation, waiting to see what is to come. Silence gives you the opportunity to evaluate the work you have put in. There is a planning stage were an individual or a group will spend time, talking about the goals they want to accomplish. You need to place yourself in a silent environment. This world has grown into a technology giant. There are cameras on every corner, factories and vehicle noise in every neighborhood. Buildings and homes are being built in areas that were once forest or farmland. To gain a peaceful mind one has to be aware of the need of silence.

My experience with silence has helped me to grow into a loving son, brother, soldier, husband and a giving father and a peaceful human being. For me silence has been a part of my life for as far as I can remember. I grew up in church in the 1970’s and 80’s. I was told to be seen and not heard. This forced me to be more of an introvert on top of my laidback personality.
Growing up in poverty can help you embrace silence. Some people complain about not having material possessions, I believe
